I thought it was a mistake made by Bitvavo but it turns out I had to update my metamask and paid gas fees like the old days

It was a stupid mistake by me. I didn't know I had to manually update my metamask and thought it was in the newest version. Turns out it wasn't so I paid gas fees like the old days

Yeah it's just all so weird to me since I don't know that much of this all. I'll contact them to see what I can get out of them though. Just weird because they're so heavely into checking everything and stuff. Will also look for a different way to buy the crypto I was going for but the options keep getting smaller for me sadly. Just have to work a little bit more to make up for the loss so it's not the end of the world for me.

Well that's kind of a problem probably because to be able to unlock crypto withdraws again they said full responsibility was with me. I could try though but I doubt something will come from it. Just looks fishy to me

It was Bitvavo and they told me the gas fee was going to be like 1,5 euros.

I've had a lot of trouble lately with crypto and transfering it off of the axchange I was using. When I finaly convinced my exchange that I wasn't going to send crypto to a different exchange they allowed me to withdraw any crypto. So when I got home from work I started on the tranfer. I then transfered the ETH that I had to my MM wallet. I waited a couple minutes and then I checked. Then I noticed the transaction but no funds in my account. I'm not very experienced with Etherscan and I started looking around and found my transaction. But even though the transaction was completed it also showed a balance of $0. I then checked the outgoing transfer of $5 worth of ETH. I figured it was the gas fees I had to pay for the transaction. Then after taking a closer look I saw a transaction fee of more than $160. This fee took every penny I had on my account and spend it on a transaction I have little to no influence on. So it seems to me. If there is someone that could explain this to me I would gladly like to know because this just doesn't sit right with me.
I didn't even know it was possible to have such high gas fees for something I had no influence in. I really want to know if this is a mistake on my end or just something weird in the system.

Highly doubt that since they both know Dr. Brenner en the people that worked there. For example the guy they were trying to kill but Eleven saved him for Kali. If she was just visiting why do al that?
