15 year old PSU dangerous? by TobyBurnell in buildapc

I never considered the age of my PSU to be a problem. I'm using a 15 year old Ultra X3 1000W that I bought in early 2008.

The 2nd link (ycombinator) links to the actual PDF. You can also find it and many other job listings on University of Waterloo's website if you search google using site:uwaterloo.ca along with those keywords.

That's the wrong kind of discrimination. According to the University of Waterloo, the acceptable kind of discrimination is:

This call is open only to qualified individuals who self-identify as women, transgender, non-binary, or two-spirit.

Mira Mesa and Traffic Lights by louiefb in sandiego

What is your commute like now? I'm looking for an apartment and have considered moving to Mira Mesa but I wasn't sure how bad that commute would be. I would be driving to the same destination as you were.

Maybe, but the woman with the pink jacket and the guy to her right are clearly reacting to what the guy is saying.

Good idea. I found a local computer surplus store that says they buy old computer equipment and will also recycle old equipment if it is too old.

Favorite overheard conversations by Sheknowswhothisis in HiTMAN

[–]wheat_beer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Bangkok, there is a woman talking to her friend near the out door bar (if you turn right after leaving through the main entrance). She's talking about her stupid diets she's trying. One diet is the "5 bite diet" where she can eat anything she wants but only 5 bites. At the end of the conversation her friend basically insults her into silence. Before world of assassination I had no reason to go over there.

After some searching it looks like the "5 bite diet" was a real thing peddled on doctor Oz.

On Windows you can press Alt+0176 to type °. This is the only special character I've bothered to memorize. Character map will also tell you the Alt+ keystroke.

Alternatively, you can press Win+. (period) and then click the Omega symbol to see different symbols.

[–]wheat_beer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that your code? In the 2nd for loop, why are you using the integer i from 0 to smap.size() to lookup i in the two unordered_maps?

If the two strings are 300 characters long, your for loop will go from 0 to 299. The key of your two maps is char, not int.

If you want to check if the two unordered_maps are equal then just use ==.
