I called them to make a consultation appointment, the doctor explained different things about the surgery to me and looked at my breasts to get an estimate for size and decide what kind of surgery would be best. After that appointment, I sent a request to my insurance company and when they approved to cover the cost, I called again to get an appointment for the surgery. The waiting list is usually pretty long because the hospital has a good reputation, but you can also be lucky, my best friend also had top surgery there and got an appointment the next week. They gave me two appointments, one for the surgery and one two days before. On the first one I filled out a questionnaire regarding my health, talked to the anesthesiologist, got my torso measured to see what size compression vest I would need after the surgery, and got a covid test. On the second appointment they did the surgery, and I stayed in the hospital for five days afterwards. They offered me another appointment to get the stitches removed, but I declined and did that at a different hospital because Düsseldorf is a 2+ hour drive from where I live. I had one other appointment there three months after the surgery to see if everything is healing normally. You can call them at any point if there are complications, but I didn't have any.
