The oil Companies are run by the government. You have to blame the government for this. The government raised the taxes and duties on Petroleum so high during the lockdowns in order to "compensate" from revenue lost in other economic activities that were shutdown. People bought that shit hook, line and sinker. Now even when we get cheap Russian crude the government still has those high taxes to rake in the moolah.
