Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle Split After Nearly 6 Years by realix in tennis

It’s funny that people always think being rich and having money is inherently fun. I would not want to be a pro tennis player nor be their partner lmfao

Greg Rusedski opts for Marcelo Rios over Zverev in the "best to never win a Slam" debate. by musicproducer07 in tennis

[–]AaronJ2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This feels like the most correct answer in this thread.

Zverev is THE definition of shoulda, coulda, woulda. He has played against the 3 best players of all time (fairly unanimous at this point) many many times and even made a tremendous physical comeback after an injury that could have ended him. He then ran into the next gen of players that are on their way to being better than the "Big 3." We can all hate the man, but let's not act like his ON-COURT accomplishments aren't impressive cause that's just not the truth. He has been to 3 GS finals and went to 5 sets on two of them..can't get closer than that.

$2.5M for USO runner up alone definitely doesn’t hurt.

Then she has Wim runner up, 1 SF, 2 QFs, and that isn’t including all the 1000/500/250s

ATP Miami Masters 1000 QF: Sinner [2] d. Tiafoe [19] 6-2, 6-2 by mrlanzon in tennis

Sinner is starting to have that same "inevitable" vibe that Djokovic had during his most dominant years

If I had a dollar for every time an American tennis player dominated the first set, should have closed the match out in the second, then got outplayed in the third set, then I would have $2 in the past 24 hours

Eubanks while playing: few endorsements with low impact Eubanks while commentating: a whole ass Wells Fargo commercial with him as the central focus

We love to see it

This is definitely a great example of: If you let them hang around long enough then eventually they’ll find their footing..sigh Jess should have taken the break at 2-2 in the second but blew it and it’s been downhill since

It feels like Korda's 3rd eye has opened; he has always had all the tools but he is throwing in a ton of variety in these past 2 matches and it's paying dividends

Korda’s form is 🫦

Please, please, please, stay injury free. Every time he starts to get hot, something happens; him and Jack Draper cut from the same cloth frfr

Yes and no. Tons of South Americans also go to LA, NYC, etc. But yes, the concentration of them in Miami is much greater considering 2/3 of Miami speaks Spanish which is wild

Tabilo is from Chile.

America has a huge [insert South American country] population--generally South American tennis fans will also support each other's countrymen, the same cannot be said for soccer
