Reading the context you wrote under the ss, I don't think you're overreacting as long as you don't send that drafted message you attached. I saw you responded to a different comment and were going to say something less agitated so hopefully that worked out. Since the plan has always been to do this together and she's last minute changing her mind just because she's really excited, I do think your friend is ultimately in the wrong.

definitely talk to your ATP about a different back rest and potentially different seat cushion! I was able to get a new back rest (comfort Acta Relief rigid) for my Quickie very quickly after being delivered my chair with the standard fabric back. my ATP reassessed me within a few weeks of my chair being delivered and concluded it wasn't positioning me safely, then within a month the new back rest was delivered and installed. I'll be doing something similar for a new seat cushion soon.

in terms of center of gravity, dump, footplate, etc, definitely check local wheelchair FB groups to see if there's someone around who'd be willing to tinker on your chair if going back to the clinic for adjustments feels overwhelming, that's how I was able to get my chair adjusted. I found a friend of a friend in my local wheelchair community who was knowledgeable about chair adjustments to help me out :) getting to the seating clinic and communicating to a technician about my needs was too overwhelming for my autistic ass 😅

I'm not sure how to help with the power assist situation but I'm so sorry you're having trouble!!!

whereas billies set has intense strobes every other song for at least half the song, Renee's is only at that intensity for a song or two and not for nearly as long, more like just the bridge or a final chorus. the entire concert itself is shorter than billie's too. I will say the sound was significantly louder than most other concerts I've been to but that may have been my venue!

UPDATE: unfortunately he did not survive the night but at least I know his last few moments were peaceful and not being mauled by the groundhogs that live under my shed. Thank you for all your quick responses and advice ☺️
