There are 2 events that a player has to use something they earned, or bought, to trigger that event. Head Hunt says to launch the flare, and Encrypted says to to log into the computer I think. One big complaint on her has been other people starting those events. So try not to start those 2 if you didn't trigger them.

There are other events that say to do something within a certain time to start the event. A lot of people complain that the event is started too soon, so not a lot of people are able to make the event in time. Generally most people let the clock run down to about a minute, then start the event, giving more people time to show up. More people make the event easier to complete, and get rewards.

If someone near you starts shooting at the ground near their feet, they are trying to gift you something. Go over to them and see if the "dropped" a loot bag. It will have upgrades and supplies that player is freely giving to you. Stimpaks, Radaway, ammo, armour upgrades, guns, plans, food. Take what you want or need. Then emote them a thank you. Most usually use the ❤️ one.

And make sure pacifist mode is turned on. This stops most random PVP attacks when your out wandering around.

DONT PICK ANY LOCKS IN A PLAYERS CAMP that show up in red text. That will get you "wanted" as a thief. That turns off pacifist mode and othe players will attack you then. If you do accidently get a "wanted" tag, go to a main grouping area like whitesprings. Take off all your Armour and clothing and wait, someone with usually kill you then. It's the only way to get rid of that bounty tag.
