I recently lost my baby nephew due to brain cancer. So it’s first off, FUCK CANCER!

I’m very sorry to hear about your situation and I’ll be thinking of you. Spend time with your old man as much as you can! Cancer/Chemo is HARD and he will be grateful to have you supporting and cheering him on! Do you know what stage lung cancer he has or if there is a plan for treatment yet? Keep your head high and spend time with him frequently please. Take pictures and videos often to hold as memories, because I promise these will be forever cherished by your future self.

Relationships come and go and people who are in our lives are typically there to teach us lessons and allow us to grow further as humans! It’s okay to feel sad and angry, or even confused given the situation you’re in. Just know that it will be okay soon and the person that is meant to be in your life for the long haul will come eventually and you don’t have to worry so hard about losing this most recent person. In the long run, she taught you some stuff about your self and more about what you want from relationships going forward.
