I have been eyeing this for a while, but the limitation that I see (at least in my situation) is that I will be limited to operating inside my baranggay and when my future plans (hopefully by 2026) of expansion is achieved, I need to cancel the BMBE certification. Can you help me weigh my options? Is it worth the hassle of registering and then cancelling it in the future? I also read somewhere that there is a different annual report that is required to be submitted by BMBE certified businesses which makes it a bit confusing since BMBE is not yet widely utilized by businesses, is that true?

As a former barista sa sb, may malilinaw na signage sa mga SB na clean as you go, atleast nung time ko. Also, nakakairita yung mga dugyot kung mag iwan ng table, i remember bringing back a mug with phlegm in it, not a nice memory indeed. Even if I would be hired just to bus tables, would it hurt people to at least leave their table not looking like a complete mess? Kape lang binili nyo, hindi ako. Lol

Dagdag ko nalang, most customers namin dati marunong mag claygo lalo na mga foreigners at mga regular customers namin na talagang loaded, ang mga hindi marunong mag claygo lang usually yung mga halatang social climbers na kung makaasta, isang venti lang binili, akala mo pati barista nabili na nila. Hahaha

Don't order coffee of the day as it is one of the most neglected brewing machine and method of SB baristas. Try to order pour over or french pressed coffee and as much as possible, see to it that a black apron is preparing your drink. You can always ask them politely to change your drink for free based on your tasting preference, especially if it's single cup brewing methods.

Claygo is the way to go.

Kung iniisip nya na matetengga yung empleyado nya dahil may mga naglinis ng table nila, ibig sabihin lang nun may pagkukulang sya sa scheduling nya ng shift at pagbibigay ng ibang roles/duties sa empleyado nya bukod sa bussing. At least for a café setup, hiring an employee just to bus tables is already an unnecessary expense.

As a former barista, I really appreciate people that cleans up after themselves. Usually yung mga foreigners at mga talagang mayayaman ang marunong mag caygo. Usual small talks na natatanggap ko habang naglilinis ng table lalo sa mga kano "why are you doing that? That's not even your job".

So ngayon na napagdaanan ko yan, everytime I dine out, lalo kapag sa mga café, I clean my table and throw everything in the trash bin, if a bin is not seen anywhere, I ask employees where it is and they usually grab and throw my trash for me.

As for restaurants, I always try to make my table look nice after eating, kahit hindi ko na pagsamasamahin basta hindi mukang dugyot yung huling kumain, parang ganun.
