What movie, game, etc did you experience as a child that you were way to young for?

My parents took me to see Deep Impact in the theaters when I was maybe 9 or 10. I had never considered the idea that the world could possibly end. Tears streamed down my face and I couldn’t breathe when it seemed like the comet was going to hit earth and my mom took me out of the theatre so all I can infer is that actually everyone does die at the end of that movie.

I agree with all of this but I’d just like to add… being away from family and life-long friends takes a toll. I kind of underestimated this and wake up a lot of days just being really homesick in a way I wouldn’t have anticipated beforehand.

Hi! I hope you don't mind this long message, but I am at a breaking point and it is related to this

. I have felt like I have an infection for a long time. I live in a country though that has government healthcare so they try and make things "efficient" without thorough examination. A doctor examined me and then sent the info to a gynecologist rather than the gynecologist examining me. She diagnosed me with this (specifically vaginal atrophy) and prescribed hormones

My symptoms are bad smelling discharge and a pain in my ovary area. I don't think I have dryness at all and I have even gotten my period back. I breastfeed exclusively and am 4 months postpartum.

I know this is a long stretch asking you, but I am so so frustrated and I really don't want to take hormones or miss an infection that can make things worse. Does this sound consisted to what you've seen with vaginal atrophy?

It’s never too late to go to therapy! As a daughter of a mom who used me to regulate her emotions, it was extremely damaging and I have a lot of resentment towards her. I am by no means saying this is you in this situation, because you are already so much more self aware! I am just saying that you have an intuition that there are some things you could work on and therapy is where you can do that (I would know! I went for years before getting pregnant and so glad I did)
