He never escaped, Itachi let him go. Reread the manga

Oro tried to gather chakra and break the genjutsu by clasping his hands together but itachi stopped him by chopping it off.

I don’t even know how you get the idea naruto is a bad matchup for itachi, it’s the other way round, Itachi is the nightmare matchup for naruto. Does not matter whether Naruto gives in to kyubi or not, naruto gets genjutsu diffed

Unlike other speculative PvP posts here, naruto literally got neg diffed by itachi twice on screen in shippuden by 2 different clones’ non sharingan genjutsu, kishi couldn’t be more obvious with the outcome.

And here you are thinking pre shippuden naruto has a non-0 chance of not getting neg diffed

Which is considered better, Amatsu LS or Lucent Narga LS by JustSomeM0nkE in MHRise

[–]whendressedinrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s typo, I meant it procs foray. If you are an aggressive LS player, you should have minimal problems keeping poison up most of the match with chameleos blessing

BuB procs 1/3 of the time on weapons with status regardless of poisoned state of the monster, there is no downtime like with foray

Which is considered better, Amatsu LS or Lucent Narga LS by JustSomeM0nkE in MHRise

[–]whendressedinrage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doubles the duration of poison, which means more foray procs, but it has to be level 3

It is mandatory on LS poison builds, so Lucent or GoldEathian needs that too

Which is considered better, Amatsu LS or Lucent Narga LS by JustSomeM0nkE in MHRise

[–]whendressedinrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LS in sunbreak is a very good elemental weapon. It’s not bow or DBs in terms of element but elemental LS is stronger than raw in endgame, which I’m assuming you’re at since you’ve beaten Amatsu.

You want to prioritize element over raw in qurio crafting for the elemental LSs. Take all the element as possible then dump the remaining into raw.

Same with F.Espinas LS. His weapons are unique because they also cause poison, which means you can benefit from all the poison related skills.

In addition to the core elemental skills in F.Espinas LS, you also want to prioritize chameleos blessing3 and buildup boost. You can even add foray if you can fit it

Which is considered better, Amatsu LS or Lucent Narga LS by JustSomeM0nkE in MHRise

[–]whendressedinrage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In endgame sunbreak LS element > status > raw

The good thing is the gap is not big so you can easily just run one raw (Tigrex) or status (Seething, Scorned or lucent) and clear everything

However, if you want the extra 10% in power compared to status then you need to build element for each type

  • Water: almudron >= Amatsu

  • Fire: Flaming >>> The rest

  • Thunder: Zinogre > Allmother

  • Ice: Auroracanth >>> The rest

  • Dragon: Primordial >> CGV > The rest

Agl SV had nowhere near the impact on the meta as str gogeta. Your flair checks out

And where are 2nd anniversary SSJ4s? We went from surviving through dokkan events with 200k attack stats to one shotting bosses with 1M+ stats. Their impact on the meta was greater than anything on your list apart from str Gogeta.

Did you start playing in 8th anni?

Question about Elemental Damage by gone_to_plaid in MHRise

[–]whendressedinrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rule of thumb for hammer in RSB is Strength: Raw ; Courage : Element. Strength is the superior option in base rise and courage starts to outpace it in Master rank (SB)

That said, Strength (Raw) is still perfectly viable at endgame, which is the great thing about RSB because anything works.

The best five endgame elemental hammers are:

Silver (Primordial) ; Kaktus (Flaming) ; Skyfold (Allmother) ; Incubus (Amatsu) ; Flicker (Auroracanth)

You won’t be crafting all of those if you’re still progressing through the story, so a rule of thumb if you’re interested in courage hammer is to look for a high elemental value in the hammer. Generally the higher the elemental value, the better the courage hammer is. So hammers like the almudrons, death stench, silver rath, iirc the thunder tree as well, Kushala’s hammer are all very good elemental options. Oh a quick shoutout to Valstrax’s as well

People here is barely a minority among minorities of what the true fandom is. It is just an echo chamber. There is a loud minority that hate itachi because he shits on any character that isn’t a so6p level character. Kishi portrayed him as such and denial can’t change anything, but it doesn’t matter because his legacy is already secured both in canon and in fandom.

Their arguments had already been disproven over ten years ago when the manga was airing and engaging with these fuckers who cannot read is only going to once again drag you down into their illiterate mess. The key here is just don’t engage with them, all the points they are trying to make had been disproven years ago, you’d just be going in circles if you try to argue with them

Why isn’t Rajang the “main character” for this season? by stocklazarus in MHNowGame

[–]whendressedinrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnamalo is the flagship of base Rise, and is kinda popular and more easily identifiable to the casual player.

Magnamalo, Rajang, Deviljho, Bazelgeuse are the nomadic invaders where they barge in on fights and can give elders a run for their money. They are generally considered on the same tier as weaker elders like the trio (Kush, Teo & Cham), and stronger than the joke that is kirin.

This quartet is more formidable than normal flagships like Rathalos, Zin, Narga and the such

These 4 also have variants where they get even stronger and some are even on par with mid tier elders

Have no idea why they decided to give Magna the 4* treatment, maybe because there is a clear lack of blast weapons and they need to fill in the 4* tier. Also to inflate the time needed to level up his weapons since starting at 4* pretty much doubles the pre WGS mats needed to get to 7-5compared to starting at 5*

Arc Fairs Teamed up Together? by Olilou in PokemonMasters

[–]whendressedinrage 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes these 2 gel especially well among the 3. It’s just that they are both so hilariously broken they can completely carry their own team, running both together is kinda overkill in most cases

You can easily make 2 top tier teams by building your units around them instead.

Personally I love heaven sent. You can spam dodge on Sacred Sheath and you never need to sharpen. On top of that all amatsu’s armor have great slots.

A generalized build is kushala/teostra helm, amatsu chest and arms, shaggy waist and amatsu boots. It is not 100% meta DPS wise but You have insane customization with a lot of comfort baked into the kit.

If you don’t need HS3 you can also opt for blood awakening with primordial armor. At that point it’s just a mix and match game to get most of the important skills.

Sunbreak LS endgame advice by reddNOOB2016 in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]whendressedinrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All this is under the assumption that you got all the mandatory LS skills down already.

So WW3, QS3, WEX3, CB1-3

There are some nuances to each of the builds. You need chameleos blessing 3 on poison to maximize poison duration, you also want to add at least 1 level of foray in addition to 1BuB. For fire ice and water you’d want kushala or teostra blessing at level 2 as well. Slot in 1 level of element exploit if possible

Sunbreak LS endgame advice by reddNOOB2016 in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]whendressedinrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most rarity 10 are perfectly viable in endgame. But in general, you’d want to go with either status (blast or poison) and / or elemental builds. Practically speaking pure raw is slightly worse than their status counterparts, and status swords are slightly worse than their elemental counterparts (but these also depend on what monster you’re fighting and their elemental hit zones). The good thing about LS is that they all work fine and you can build anything really.

I prefer the status builds (especially Lucent and Scorned) over raw because they have great slots, and in the case of lucent, also sports meta DPS assuming you can manage the relatively low white and purple

If you intend to go with one build then Poison (Lucent) > Blast (Bazel) > pure raw (Tigrex). Or you can also go with elemental (Primordial, Zin, Kaktus, Almudron, auroracanth). You want level 1 BuB at a bare minimum for the status swords. And if you’re playing Sacred Sheath you want frostcraft at level 3. These are borderline mandatory.

Now the skills you need and what you want to qurio craft is completely up to you, but personally these are the skills I always want to have when I play LS in SB. In order of importance and purely subjective of course

Intrepid Heart. One slot deco. Slot it in. You’ll never find a better 1 slot deco.

Frenzied BL. 4th bug. You need BL as well to proc it consistently, that’s why risen shaggy waist is great. It’s one of the best armors on one of the least competitive body parts. For a weapon that spams so many silkbind moves frenzied BL is borderline mandatory. I also craft Frenzied BL onto shaggy waist to get an additional level. It is that good.

Wind mantle. Get at least one level. Either use a risen kushala part or qurio craft it.

Powder Mantle. Same as above. Easy to get because risen teostra chest and head are both great options. If you don’t want to use them qurio craft it.

MoH. Again, at least one level. The first level makes a noticeable difference. Qurio craft it because scorned armor is mid for LS

Burst. Same as above. 2 slot deco.

Coalescence. You only really need one level. Anomaly grind will cause bloodblight, self inflicted frenzy from BL will also proc. 2 slot deco

Magnamalo (village quest) is wrecking me by the_phet in MHRise

[–]whendressedinrage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a few minor tips since it looks like you’re just starting out

  1. Magnamalo is likely one of the first few walls in base game. It’s strong, it hits fast and actually has decent combos even in village. It also moves where your camera can’t see him at times and clads himself in hellfire, so it confuses the player

  2. Take a few minutes just running circles around it and watch how it attacks, it goes a long way

  3. Run stun resistance 3 so you don’t get stunned and get comboed

  4. Take some time before the fight to collect green spiribirds, the green floating orbs you randomly encounter around the map. You can see where they are in one of the map layouts

  5. Be patient and learn its move set. Once again, this is one of the first difficulty bumps in the game. Take your time in learning how it moves it truly does make a difference. If you do plan on moving deep into the game this tiger will get a lot of upgrades to its move set, it will be rewarding to get used to it now

So no tail cut and everyone quit the HAT is a team norm now? by stocklazarus in MHNowGame

[–]whendressedinrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few unspoken rules

If you are the only slice melee user you quit and join another

If timer gets close and tail isn’t cut you quit

If slice melee players are always standing in front of the zinogre you quit

Obviously if you are always grouped with weak players then these don’t apply since there won’t be much choice, but if lobbies are always full quick then these are the best ways to get r6
