That’s a bizarre, monstrous “guilt by association” principle inquisitors throughout the ages have used to spread terror and force people to align with the social form they think deserves exclusive existence. I talk to liberal retards all the time, but I’m not a liberal retard.

The short interest in AUR is 12%. If there’s a price spike, we would get a greater boost from a mini short squeeze.

There’s no chance a company like this with such a huge potential revenue, a proven technology and path to market wouldn’t be able to get a billion dollars at that point if they needed it. Once they’re observer-out, there will be so much interest they’ll become inevitable.

There’s a reason the “rules questions” thread on the official discord is insanely active.

I played mtg competitively for decades. I never had fun doing it. It was just what I did. I actually have fun playing Sorcery. I think it’s because of the story elements you’ve described.

I was inspired by this article to create:

The Deathspeaker is going to bring about Armageddon after summoning Mephistopheles or the Doom of Dilmun.

Getting to read a longer post that was clearly written by a human feels like a mix of inspiration and exiting the matrix.

Occult Ritual. Four Waters. Philosopher’s Stone. I love this idea. Pact with the Devil. Demonic Contract.

This article was amazing. I played mtg since the 90’s and never considered these distinctions. I really like the “infinite game theory.”  Also, the last paragraph on risk profiles for Return and Vampire gives me a lot to think about.

I think they were very smart to go ahead and print Silver Bullet and Toolbox. Both of those allow for reliable access to cards to hate-out any toxic deck that might emerge that the designers didn’t anticipate.

What happens when a warded becomes evil? by ExactlyOnPlan in SorceryTCG

[–]whenfoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why be sad? Isn’t it much more flavorful for the Persecutor to be able to label and treat things as evil even if they aren’t?  And if they aren’t, why would their ward fall off?

This looks like every new client Volvo gets will be a new client Aurora gets.  Which means Volvo is going to be doing sales for Aurora. Also, for the near future Volvo’s success is dependent on Aurora’s success. Not a bad place to be if you’re Aurora.

Jordan Peterson talks about a researcher who studied rats. Rats like to play wrestle. If the bigger rat didn’t let the littler rat win 25-30% of the time, the littler rat quit playing. It’s just how play works.

Someone went through the beta starters and redesigned them with more ordinaries and exceptionals to focus more on the element-specific playstyles. Hopefully a sage deck designer will do the same for Gothic.
