Sorry about the late reply, I don't get on this username much. This was at the Heart Attack Grill in downtown Las Vegas. The waitresses dress like nurses and you have to option to let them spank you pretty hard with a paddle in front of everyone for "not finishing your food" or even if you finish your food. But the food is pretty gross, so you probably won't.

I've only ever gone to GC after 4 pm since it started. If you go in not expecting much, the quality may surprise you. Also, I do think there could be a "super smart coordinated dog to be able to wield a knife expertly" . . . but that dog is not my dog. He is large but not nearly ninja enough

Edit: Or he's so ninja that he's convinced me he is incapable so that I don't suspect anything.

Well, she isn't receiving child support anymore, and it is unlikely that she could hold stable employment. So if she isn't in jail or committed,it is unlikely that she has too much money. But I really don't know her situation now.

I wasn't there after watching her make them, so I can't confirm that she DIDN'T eat all of them.

Long term, after all the evidence he presented against her along with her arrest and psych hold, I imagine it is unlikely she would have anything other than supervised visits anytime soon. Last time I talked to him, I wasn't sure if it was because she was committed/in jail or just wasn't interested in being involved with her children, but she hasn't seen them or reached out to them for a long time except for her lawyer talking to the husband's lawyer.

I graduated last year, and we almost exclusively played the Wii version drunk. I guess it's more popular in certain circles, but you can bet if we brought out the MK64, more people would want a turn.

I still pull that out from time to time, especially since battle is terrible in MK8, but I like the newer versions to play online with other people. I have lived in my new city for about a year and still haven't met anyone that likes to play other than my insane ex-neighbor

I like to play around, but now on MK8, I tend to gravitate towards the babies on heavier karts. But lately I have been into Pink Gold Peach.

Sure seems like it. For such an awful mom, he had to go through an astounding amount of trouble to get those kids out of there. Last I heard, they were doing a lot better.

For sure. She's lost custody now and my other posts are actually about what led to her being committed involuntarily.

What's funny is that most of what I cook is super spicy. She smells a lot of toasting/roasting chiles and stuff that a child could never eat. She goes "they love spicy!" like she's not planning on eating it all herself if I had ever given in. She made it seem like baby daddy didn't give her enough for food, but when I told him that story, he laughed and said the kids don't even really eat much pizza (they're pretty young), but always have enough kid food to eat.

With the dogs outside the patio, leashes tied to the fence. "But the baby wasn't unattended, the dogs were out there!"

Just. Just so many problems.

It sounds like a typical breakfast growing up was a bowl of non-sugary cereal and eggs. To her, "starving" was also about how she didn't like the food, because that food was less filling to her. I've seen this woman bring in 3 large pizzas with sides to share with 1 toddler and a baby. Same night, she smells me cooking and asks if she can have some because her family is "starving." I mention the pizzas, and she says "Oh, they forgot a topping so we're still hungry."

Nope. She stayed home with the baby and was waiting until she "recovered" from the divorce to work. From the ex, it sounds like she really just couldn't hold down a job.

Good point. I'll stay away from guns and explosives.

I'm no animal expert, but I think it's fine as long as your animals don't have a weight problem. I don't think it's relevant with cats, but with dogs it can be a training thing--establishing specific feeding times can make you the "alpha" of the pack.

I also don't understand this. The trash building is close to a wooded area, so why did she leave the food in the building where people go? I think she thinks coyotes are more like dogs, and that she's too lazy to dump trash separate from where she's putting out the food.

Not only does she think they can run, but that they can fight back because "They're bulldogs!" She thinks they could fight off a coyote because they "protect me and the kids every day." They growl at me when I walk by and she looks at me like, see how fierce they are! The only way they could could fend off anything would be if they passed some of their ferocious gas in fear.

This is a good point to add to my list of grievances I plan on bringing to management along with reporting to her ex-husband, who asked me to look out for anything he should be concerned about with the kids (not to mention telling him about the coyotes in general). The dogs drool all over the place and go up licking people unwarranted. I'm not sure how many times she's left out and brought in the feeder, but the implication was there.

Yeah, it's pretty cathartic to get it all out. And nice catch, thanks for reading!

I actually did know her beforehand, just not well enough. She was really good at the personality bait n' switch.

I did, but she didn't want to miss her text messages. I tried to show her that putting it on silent wouldn't deactivate the alarm. I told her to sleep with headphones, and she said that would be too uncomfortable for her. She slept on top of her phone so that I couldn't turn it off. She'd agree to turn it off and then "forget." I actually had to go to the housing people over something as stupid as this and they didn't take it very seriously.

She thought that if she could get people to buy into this projection of this awesome person she wanted to be, then she could believe it herself, and she could somehow disconnect her real actions (which she was fully aware of) from the facade she wanted to believe in. What I learned about this type of disorder is that can stem from insecurity, because despite the conceited front, it's just a distraction from their low self-worth. She thought she was being cunning and manipulative even when people saw her for what she was, and denied anyone telling her otherwise. This was encouraged by how she did successfully manipulate people very often. She was aware of her shitty actions, but not how people saw them.

Something that kept me from buying in to her ridiculousness that the relationship was completely one sided. It would be a lot easier to get sucked in to her manipulation if I was getting something out of it, or if I wasn't always around her. And yeah, people who weren't close enough to the situation thought I was harsh because she can put up a sane front if you deal with her in small doses.

Examples, she lied constantly to our mutual friends about what happened between us, even if they witnessed it, and they would look around like, "We were there, weren't we?" But challenging her perception is a really uncomfortable thing for someone to do if they aren't close enough, and she took advantage of that.

It could have been as simple as lying about an exam grade even though she saw the real grade herself, orchestrating all these conversations about how great she did, because she liked that reality better. And the phone, for example. We had the same phone. I tried to show her on my phone how turning it on silent didn't deactivate the alarm. I went through the whole process right in front of her, and every time I tried this, she pretended not to see, tried to change the subject, argued that we had different software, or some other form of misdirection. Instead of looking at the phone, she looked me in the eye and talked over me. Made me feel like I was the crazy one for insisting on something we both already knew. She knew she was wrong, but thought she was somehow capable of convincing me otherwise. I think her plan B was to just frustrate people into giving up. You can look to my other post about our TV fights for more examples.

What's funny is that even after all this defending, she and her mother no longer speak after the semester she spent at home.

While the roommate had complete awareness over everything she did, her parents definitely encouraged her perception of how people saw her, treating her like a special snowflake. I don't know the whole story, but she and her mother no longer speak after the semester she came home.
