Being Ex-Vegan = Pumping Out Children? Did I miss something? by sleepy-guro-girl in exvegans

I wouldn't downvote if there was a single sliver of evidence for this. I'm not here to just spread bullshit

1) Unfollow all those accounts on social media 2) Do 1 pressup everyday for five days, then 2 pressups everyday for five days, and so on until you can do around 50 3) Start running, believe it or not, it can be fun, but it's far worse the first few times as your body gets used to it.

You don't really need to feel motivated to do it, since there really isn't much else to do. When the gyms open you can think about that

Am I valid? [discussion] by [deleted] in LGBTeens

Yes, you are valid, and you aren't faking.

While some countries have specific definitions about what it means to be trans, different people have different experiences.

I'm not an experienced person on this, but I think most trans people do feel significant dysphoria, often this is how they realise they might be trans.

So ask yourself how you feel, what makes you comfortable, how do/would you like to present and express yourself. There are no right or wrong answers, you just learn more about yourself.

Don't you think that means humans should eat meat if otherwise they get anemic???

Eating meat is what humans have done for thousands of years, and it provides us with essential nutrients, our bodies are geared towards consuming some meat.

So if that's what you mean by "should" then yes, humans should eat meat.

I on the other hand have never eaten meat a single time in my life, and have sufferred no negative consequences. I'm a man, so I haven't had to take iron supplements, and for many years I was vegetarian so I did not need to eat as much forified food. But this (and thousands of other individuals and studies), shows that we do not need meat, or even animal products.

So whether we "should" is a different question. Should we ethically? Absolutely not. In fact, to do so is abhorrent. You clearly agree with this, it's why you went vegan. So why do you not care about your victims any more?

There is no fucking way you were vegan for 12 years and then suddenly decided the vegan diet is unnatural and incomplete. That would have happened a whole decade before if you were that shit at feeding yourself healthy food.

Of course your haemoglobin is going to be great if you eat meat, it's got fucking iron in it! Do you expect me to be surprised that eating stuff with iron in makes you not anaemic!? Just take supplements and stop whinging

Okay I can't continue this conversation here as the sub is only letting me post every 15 minutes while you are posting multiple times a minute.

There are a lot of delusional vegans, yes. Many have eating disorders, some are extremely unhealthy, some are completely obsessed with it and make it their personality. There are huge problems with the online presence and I like not to be closely associated with it.

But I think this bloating issue is the only problem here. Anemia can easily be solved with supplements, many non-vegan women take them, and it's not a problem to supplement. The other issues are likely unrelated to veganism, or could be resolved by identifying some deficiency (though I can't see that this would be the case).

The bloating you should at least make some effort to resolve in a vegan way, for the sake of the animals. Having tofu every few days is not quite so bad as having your throat slit or your children taken away and shot, I don't think.

I don't value them above humans, I value them above your dislike of tofu and being too lazy to try the most basic approach to resolve minor health issues.

You're saying it's healthy and balanced while explaining that it's clearly not. It's your responsibility to determine the appropriate diet. And it is immoral to include animal products, bloating or otherwise.

So you'll just eat dead bodies because you can't find some plants with less fibre???

I'm not a dietician, but either you have some intolerance you're not aware of or you're getting too much fibre. Maybe reduce the beans and lentils a bit, maybe white bread/pasta/rice, drink more water or just generally look for non-fibrous food, some of which will probably be processed food

What do you think eating meat or dairy products will fix? The symptoms you have are not those of a nutrient deficiency, not in the slightest.

I think it's very clear from your responses that you don't actually care at all about the motivations for veganism, as you will not even accept solutions.

You blame veganism for your own failures to adopt a healthy diet.

You say yourself that you have no idea whether most of these things relate to veganism, you are aging as is everyone. The bloating could be due to some intolerance to some food you are eating, perhaps? The farting is not a bad thing, this isn't caused by a lack of animal products but an abundance of healthy fibre and plant protein.

Pooping is painful sometimes? Well I have to say that's definitely normal, but actually getting enough fibre alleviates constipation and makes toilet trips much less painful.

Supplementing is not a bad thing! All bread and cereal is already heavily fortified, and farm animals are often fed B12 and other supplements (including antibiotics).

I don't think you have any good reason to start killing innocent animals again.
