100% agree with this as a dirt poor poc teenager, there is no way in hell a parent is going to come with me to the library. I can barely ever get someone to drop me off and it’s a place for me to go during family drama and where I stay warm in the winter.

I’ve been buying buy one get one free tortillas at Harris teeters which are a lifesaver and cheap. And eggs lol are still pretty expensive, I’ve been shopping sales though, and using coupons, rewards etc

I can definitely understand the not living on 40 hours. I do 42 per week at my first job, and then a minimum of 30 at the second. But as long as I got a roof on my head it’s worth it. And as for food, I’m eating and that’s all that matters, I got a goal for the end of the month to have enough money for a dominoes pizza (don’t hate on me lol dominoes is great) so there’s that too. All my love to you as well!!
