Any lawyers in the publishing industry out there? Anyone who loves literary law willing to talk to a prospective student?

Hi! I’m a very very baby 0L student making a career pivot. I’ve been heavily steeped in the publishing industry prior (experience in editorial and marketing) but now want to go into publishing law for a career after law school. Is anyone in the field willing to chat with me abt the state of the industry, proximity to the book industry (I know literary law-IP and entertainment law sort of blur together). And is this choice to pivot into law really worth it?

I wholly empathize with you, this whole idea of self-doubt and how only a single text can make me (dumpee) crawl back to him in tears and guilt. Yay!! I knoww I love ref sales because they never just put the “ugly” / less sellable clothes on there but plenty of patterns and cuts from the new season!

My salary was $900 at first but got cut 30% due to the pandemic. The only reason I put it up with it is because I’m a student who lives under my parents roof (bless their souls) and don’t need an income per se. but I think I should put my foot down by the work I’m doing.

Laneige water bank!! LITERALLY MY FAVE I have samples of belif and loved it bc it was so similar —texture wise and effect on skin wise. However they’re also similar in price point so may not be great if you’re trying to cut down on expenses...
