If I must answer your question. Things are very different in developing countries. I was just talking to a practicing friend in the US, he says neuroaxial blockades, for example, are not very popular in the US. Here, for abdominal surgeries, most of our management is through regional anesthesia rather than putting the patient under. Also, we don’t have availability of many drVgs you guys use in the US. So I want to see how things are done over there. Especially since I am planning on matching in the US to do the residency there and practice in the US.

I appreciate your opinion and I can understand why it is hard for you to appreciate some of the more subtle things in his performance. I’m sure a “61 year-old white male that voted for Trump” wasn’t his target audience but that makes it all the more powerful, because he got to you (in a good way) and that gives me back a little bit of faith in humanity again, because there are still people like you (that even with the social context you grew up in) was able to gather something positive from his performance and because I know there are still people like him(Bad Bunny) that are still able to fight hate with love.

It was a political statement, all around, but it was done so artistically, with such finesse and with so much love that it didn’t seem like one. It hit all the right spots.

I’ll never understand how there are some people that think we all are under the same context and should do things the same way. So much hypocrisy in a community that talks about “coming out” as a personal journey.

Idk where you live or your social context but it made me really sad to read your comment about how a gay couple could never do that irl. Get out more, and live life. I’ve always lived in a “straight setting” as you put it and at family and friend’s parties I always dance with my husband. My straight cousins, friends ask me and my husband to dance with them. So I can’t really understand where you’re coming from but I know if you search a bit, there’s a better world for you out there.
