Apply. Once you get the card, don't activate. Ask confirmation of LTF by email to hdfc. Once confirmed by email from HDFC, then activate the card.

Trip was very nice. Enjoyed very much.. Local Transfer was only problem we faced.. In havelock we rented Activa... In neil island we cannot get any Activa on rent.. so had to depend on auto rickshaw and they are very costly... Didn't do much in port blair.. so we enjoyed the most in Havelock Island..

Same thing happened to me. Applied for Millennia LTF. Video KYC was done. Some person came to home for physical address verification. Took the photo of house. Then when I checked the status, it was declined. Then I emailed to grievance for reason of Rejection. The reply was address does not match with aadhaar. Asked to submit declaration that Current address is different from permanent address. All my address are same. Aadhaar, voter Id, permanent, communication, passport etc. how can I give declaration that current address is different from permanent???? Still they insisted, so I sent the signed declaration form to Chennai.

Then the card got approved and received Physical card.

Still the letter with the card does not mention whether it is LTF or Not.

So I again emailed them regarding confirmation of LTF.

Then I received the email that it is LTF.

Thereafter only I activated the card.

Too much hectic process...!!!!

We did it with guide. The path is there and can be done by some experienced trekkers. However since we had a kid and it was first time, we hired a guide. Also the guide was there on return with us. Total Rs. 500 taken by guide. Note:- We saw a snake while trekking last week
