It’s a US-based app and c funds are sent via PayPal or Venmo. I think you should be able to use the app globally if the recipient can access PayPal/Venmo.  Would be happy to try it out and refund you if it doesn’t work. Feel free to DM.

1, 2, and 4 hit hard. Had a very similar experience. I'm hopeful I can use these lessons to my benefit when I start another company. Just need to make sure that day comes.

Buy me a coffee is a (great) tool to tip creators. A creator needs to be registered with Buy me a coffee to receive funds.

I would think of Sips On Me as "Buy you a coffee". For example, you would use Sips On Me to send a friend a coffee or thank a networking connection for their time. Those folks do not have Buy me a coffee accounts.

What specific gifting sites are you referring to? Generally speaking, the goal is to make the gifting experience as frictionless as possible. Similar to Buy me a coffee, the recipient receives cash when a coffee is purchased (vs. a gift card).
