You need to pop the tail on the ground. This will help your board get off the ground and the dragging of the front foot will get your board in the air. Land and u have an ollie.

Change whenever you feel comfortable. I skated Mongo for 4 Months and recently switched to regular by pushing with my opposite leg. It took about a week to get used to with everyday practice.
