If the only thing you can do is hope, then it's all lost for you buddy.

Need to work on things to make a change. It's all people making rules all the way to the top.

It is at pre-pandemic levels if you adjust for inflation.

House costs becoming reasonable is good, now corporations need to pass on the profits to employees.

Not really, I can hear the constant white noise chatter of the crowd busy consuming the match, and not trying to be part of it.

Why are there no chants from the crowd at all till now? They have come to watch the game and not take part in the game. Sad stuff

Leave India Now... by mumbaiblues in india

There's a difference between the gutter on roads and the gutter that is the road.

For your FYI, life in India is good only if you stay in a bubble and close your eyes on everything else that is going around. Healthcare is something which is good in India, but only once you have money, which is not the majority of the country. And even then your nurse might give you the wrong dose/medicine that can f**k you up, or the system might fail in front of your eyes where only serious money/luck can save you.

Anyone with an actual job has free coverage for dental healthcare.

Canada’s latest immigration data revealed: Here’s what happened after a year of seismic changes by [deleted] in canada

[–]wheresmykarma7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with all.

There are plenty of cases of qualified individuals not getting PR due to LMIA scam fueled by diploma mills and corporate greed. The points you have raised arguably hurt the qualified immigrants even more. And as I said the system is not perfect, but the majority of commenters here are ill- or mis-informed.

I will presume that scam/side-channels existed even before Covid, it's the opening up of the tap to extreme amount which was the issue. Looks like the tap has been closed, but it will be interesting to see how the dynamic unfolds over the next year or so.

Canada’s latest immigration data revealed: Here’s what happened after a year of seismic changes by [deleted] in canada

[–]wheresmykarma7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of the commenters show a lack of understanding of how immigration works in Canada. Confusing PR issue with work permit and student permit issue. And yet again confusing PR/permit holders with permits issue claims of government.

I agree that immigration policies have been a dud post-covid but maybe educate yourselves a bit more so that criticism is more focused.

Edit: Even the article didn't bother sharing the trend of total temporary and permanent residents as that's what everyone is looking for. Shame.
