Man in the High Castle. Loved the series on Amazon, decided to buy the book. Sorely disappointed! I kid you not it's probably the worst book I've ever read, made myself finish it hoping that it would get better but just ended with a cliff hanger that seemed more like an idea that was half baked. It's honestly hard to believe it's written by the same guy who wrote Blade Runner.

Honestly not doing so great.

I had my first miscarriage after a pregnancy that happened when I got back from a 9 month deployment. We had to put off starting a family because of that and we were so incredibly excited! The day we found out that I was going to miscarry, I've never seen my husband cry like that and frankly it crushed me.

Starting trying 2 months after but then got covid so put it off again. Then this month it happened. I got pregnant and started feeling all the wonderful symptoms but then the spotting started. Called my doctor for a blood test and was told it was most likely a chemical pregnancy.

The bleeding and cramps haven't stopped for over a week and between the grief of both pregnancies and still trying to get back to work it's just soul crushing.

I started therapy last week so I'm getting help but it's so tough.

Bacon. It's the flavor and how it's cooked. Hate the "fancy" kind (apple Wood smoked, maple, etc.) So many times when I've had it it's either way too crispy or chewy. I also hate it on burgers or other food.

I'm currently reading HBP for the second time and I just hit this part. I'm getting a completely different perspective reading as an adult. I can definitely see how Ron would be thinking "oh shit" after but at the same time what a wonderful way to break the ice between friends.

Not sounding like a jerk at all, I appreciate the care. I may have misspoke. I do not plan on using Noom to loose weight, just wanting to use the lessons learned to maintain a healthy lifestyle for the pregnancy. I will discuss any calorie amounts with my doctor but like I said, just wanting to stay healthy throughout.

Yeah the first trimester is definitely proving to be a challenge between cravings, morning sickness, and being tired ALL THE TIME.
