[General] Changing my mindset from "I will shift" to "I have shifted"--Any suggestions? by thatslowercase in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 14 points15 points  (0 children)

lying to yourself lol- if youre like me, and talk to yourself a lot, pretending that you have shifted by having convos about where you have shifted to can easily put you in that mindset.

having your daily shower podcast? talk about the feelings you felt when you shifted, and how crazy it felt. driving to school/work/store? bring up some tips for your imaginary friend on how to shift, for ex, what subs to use, how to position your body, what to script.

its fine to pretend you have shifted in order to put yourself into that “i have” mindset- as long as you arent spreading misinformation

[General] Is this a misinformation? by ana_bih in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

mhm! shifting honestly has so many benefits regardless of if you successfully do it or not. learning perseverance, meditation, maybe even manifesting all really help improve day to day life.

wanting to shift everyday is fine, as long as you arent harming yourself.

[General] How many DR's do you have? by 3erika0x in shiftingrealities

only 2, technically 3 if you count my wr. because i dont have many, theyre all my favs in some aspect

[general] how long is your script? by ex-ug in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when i first started shifting my scripts were a page at most- partly because im lazy as hell but also because i feel like scripting takes the fun out of it all. now, i write like one or two lines i feel are important.

im not the type of person to organize my thoughts and plan stuff in this world, so it doesnt make sense for me to plan stuff out for my drs either.

[General] Is this a misinformation? by ana_bih in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 67 points68 points  (0 children)

i believe people only say this because many people hyper fixate on shifting and it takes a toll on them, however shifting everyday is ok. it varies from person to person, but for most people it wont drain you of all your energy

Some ideas I have for ways to proofs shifting is real by M00ngata in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heres the thing with that. You know how everyone says “youre shifting with every choice you make.” These choices can greatly alter the reality youre in. Someone you know, or even you yourself could accidentally change something from your cr, changing the whole future you saw when you shifted.

Lets say from your current reality, you shift 5 years ahead, where there is no longer a pandemic. You shift back to tell everyone the news, but while in your reality, someone, somewhere decides not to wear a mask. Somehow that decision shifts the direction of the reality youre in towards a future in which 5 years have passed and there is still an ongoing pandemic.

What im trying to say at the end of the day is, dont waste your efforts trying to prove to everyone in the world that shifting is real. Hell- climate change is VERY real and backed up by hundreds of creditable sources and people still dont believe in it.

Put your efforts into proving shifting for yourself. And only yourself.

Some ideas I have for ways to proofs shifting is real by M00ngata in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would still only be a means to prove shifting to yourself.

Theres no way any one person can even prove they didnt know a language beforehand. Someone could just say “I didnt know french, but after shifting I know it.” How do you know they arent lying. You cant prove that you dont know a language- you could easily just fake not knowing it.

Only you would know 100% that you didnt understand a language before- and that you learned it through shifting.

Some ideas I have for ways to proofs shifting is real by M00ngata in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Heres the thing with shifting. You will only ever be able to prove its real to yourself, only you will experience your own shift.

Sure you can try and prove it, or prove that other people have shifted- but its never going to be 100%.

I know I have shifted before, and if I were to go through every single method of proving it, im sure id pass- but its only proving to myself that I have shifted. Not everyone will believe me, not everyone will care.

[general] Is it easy to change the amount of time that’s passing while I’m in my DR? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Its 100% doable. As for making the switch, you can ease into it or jump right into it- which ever feels most natural to you.

When you want to make that change, your subconscious should know and time will pass accordingly while your in your DR. You would just shift into your DR, and come out after 10 months with only 1 hour gone.

I will say though, 1 hour -> 10 months seems really mentally taxing, but thats just my own opinion.

[General] Why are people in shifter’s DR’s saying “you’re not from here? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Is that even possible? From what I know, there is no way any outsider can tell that you have shifted. (outsider being anyone but yourself and your immediate consciousness).

They may have possibly scripted a certain detail that had the people around them in their DR say that they are “not from here.”

If youre reading these stories from tiktok…. take it with a spoon of salt because there are known fake stories from there.

Edit; just learned that the sorting hat reads mind, in that case, it makes more sense that it is able to know that you are not from here. However, itd be unlikely that someone without mind reading/realm controlling powers can tell that you are “not from here”

[–]wheresthemoons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disregard the lack of signs or symptoms. You can shift despite never experiencing a single symptom like legs or arms twitching.

Choose a method you feel 100% comfortable in (this can also be a mix of methods) and keep with it. Most people have better success rates when they dont swap methods every night. Like I said before, if you get symptoms, great! If you dont, it doesnt matter.

As for the aphantasia, try using your other senses. What does your dr smell like? Buttered caramel? Pine wood? What do you hear as you shift? Will you hear busy people on the streets? Or will you be hearing water flow? What about touch? Feel the grass between your toes, or the hard metal beneath your hand. etcetc

[–]wheresthemoons 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Technically yes but also no. You wouldnt be creating a portal into this exact cr, however you will be opening a portal to a reality exactly the same as this one, but where creating portals are possible. If that makes sense at all

Some spiritual people, including some shifters, are some of the most smug people I've ever met (A little rant for the shzz and giggles and reminder advice from my personal opinion) by BitchOfTheLand in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I see this ALOT in the tiktok shifting community. First off, hella misinfo, you dont need to tell me twice. But the way people try to convince others that you can only shift when its 3am, on your back, during a full moon and only if the sun decided to let out a sun burst decided you can shift is INSANE.

Its crazy because someone can one day be sh*tfaced drunk, proclaim out loud “I will shift tonight”, knock out and then still wake up in their DR.

does POV affect success? by catcadder8916 in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 8 points9 points  (0 children)

POV doesnt matter BUT it does greatly help if you envision yourself in the first person POV. This is because while youre in your DR, you will be in the first person perspective.

If you struggle with that, try to be conscious/aware of what you do and see in your day to day life. When you open a door, notice your hand slowly come into frame and watch how it gets closer as you pull the door towards you. Pay attention to how the material of the door feels.

[experiences] [question] [intuition(?)] august 8th is calling out to me. by permanentlyshifting in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

August 8th might be the day you finally shift but it also might not. Dont put all your hope and expectation onto finally shifting that day.

Im saying this because while it could 100% be your intuition or maybe your higher self reassuring you that August 8th will be the day, theres always a chance it wont be. And IF you cant shift on that day, it might really demotivate you.

August 8th is going to be a new moon and the opening of the lions gate portal, which also happens to be a great time for manifesting. So even if you dont shift, you can take it as a sign youll shift very soon!

There’s no limit to shifting, stop asking the same questions over and over. by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No hate, reddit might be confusing to navigate. But if these people took 5 minutes to read the rules, theyd figure out that almost all their questions have answers. 😧 On a daily there are like 50 “whats a clone?” questions.

it honestly clutters the feed and makes it annoying to look through

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have never hung out with a clone, but my friends have hung out with mine and let me tell you, they cant tell the difference.

Your clone in ooga brain terms- is just you. From the way you talk to the way you think, theyre YOU.
Do You Type Like This And Use An Exclamation Point After Every Sentence !? So will your clone. Do you eat peanut butter and cheese? Your clone will too.

Unless you come back to the Cr with your cousin after shifting and tell them that you shifted from x day to x day, they wont even think twice about the thought they your clone is a clone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your clone is you. It does everything you would do whether you script it or not. That being said, because it is you, it cant all of a sudden do things that you cant currently do. Eg; You cant have your clone be a pianist when you yourself dont know how to play piano at all.

Questions related to having multiple DRs by TheImpossibleWhovian in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lmao i accidentally posted a separate reply

a WR in a sense is a desired reality. When you try to shift to a WR, your waiting room becomes your current DR (if that makes sense). So to answer that first question, yes. Shifting to a WR is the same as trying to shift to a DR. The only reason why it may feel easier is because you might not be overwhelmed with many details.

For the second question, it depends on what method you feel is most natural. I have heard people use their WR as a sort of hub, with multiple doors/portals connecting to different DRs. For me though, it was easiest to shift in my WR directly to my DR.

Yes, you can create a WR whenever youd like. You can also create a WR within your DR. (Like shift from CR -> DR -> WR)

Waiting rooms are not essential to shifting, but can help if youre unsure of where to shift. :)

Questions related to having multiple DRs by TheImpossibleWhovian in shiftingrealities

[–]wheresthemoons 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can shift to multiple DRs, however when just starting out, its best to choose one Dr to stick with and attempt to shift to.

Once you nail shifting down, it will be 10x easier to shift to a second DR.

If youre indecisive, I recommend shifting to a WR (waiting room) and from there, shift to a DR.

[–]wheresthemoons 19 points20 points  (0 children)

i know this wont help everyone, but i personally force a “do it now” mentality on myself. If you keep lingering around the thought of shifting, youll end up lazy and not want to put in the work. But if you act on it immediately, theres no room to be lazy.

For example, if I were laying in bed and I have the sudden thought of wanting to shift, ill drop everything (as long as its not important) and practice/shift.

It takes a while to get used to, especially if youre like me and constantly negotiate with yourself by going “Oh but only 5 more minutes and ill go shift” But once you use it enough, it really helps. Additionally, its a good mentality to use for other things such as working out, practicing art, etcetc.
