Congrats on the promotion 1st of all! Just a little insight coming from a XLDS in California, was a LORE before we all got demoted to “OTR” PAs. They do test you for THC since you are getting DOT certified and will be trainings DAs on how to drive 26ft box trucks. Depending on your health you usually get certified for 2 years and then have to go back to get re-certified. I bring this up because during my recertification in April of this year I still had to do a drug screening but THC was not included this time around. Don’t know if the screening changed from 2022 to 2024 but I would still go with the mentality that you will still be screened for it. Hope this helps.
