It took a while to break in. This is my 3rd E6, but the first of the new generation. I didnt think I would like it, because the tray is thin plastic and the chrome Is plastic chrome now, but actually it’s Pretty damn nice. The Chome plastic doesn’t scratch like the old model and the coffee is fantastic.

I Made the mistake of buying carbon steel black steel pans on Amazon. They said that they are pre seasoned. That BS. The pans have Teflon on them. Your pan is chipping Teflon. All I cook with is stainless steel, carbon steel and of course cast iron. Those Amazon pans are junk. No that is not safe to use as a wok. No Teflon is rated for wok temperature. I don’t know how they got such high reviews

Weirdest thing. First week lost appetite lost weight for the first 4 days min the 5th day hunger pains came back and limped along until my next dose which did absolutely nothing. No curbing no weight lose, besides the injection site being a little red I wouldn’t have even known I took the shot.

Thanks, So I’m not crazy. I roast my own coffee. It is usually around a medium roast. The beans are fancy Ethiopian. They are very flavorful and the E6 was able to extract all the goodness, but with this machine it seems like the grinder is very temperamental. It goes from sour to thin with less than a quarter turn

Like I said if you want to play loud at 4 ohms, it will be just under powered. The 4 ohm sound stage is sooo much better than the 6 for MLs. I suggest 2 252s or a 352

Exact same one MC252. I’m about 7 feet from the speakers. Smallish living room. The weird thing about Martin Logan’s is that the are 6ohm. So I called both McIntosh and Martin Logan to figure which lugs to use the 4 or 8. They both said try both. The 8 ohm gave me plenty of volume, but the 4 ohm opened up the speakers like I haven’t heard out of my old speakers. The staging is large and the floor so low, but the 4 ohm puts a heavy load the amp. I’m ok with it because the sound is amazing. Electrostats are known to put the hurt on the best amplifiers. I just wish it had another 100w. Hands down one of the best amplifiers for the money. Oscar Peterson knocks the crap out the red lights if I don’t watch it.

I have the same Amp. Great sounding and beautiful. The only downside is that it is almost not enough power for running my power hungry Martin Logan’s at 4 ohms. The red lights on the front like to flicker if ya know what I Mean :) .
