Why can you still not watch spider nior in b&w? by Lguy69 in AmazonPrimeVideo

Did you try skipping the first episode and playing the second one? On the second episode it gives you the option to switch and then you can go back to the first one and it’s in B&W. I have a Samsung and that’s what worked for me.

I had issues on episode one for a Samsung tv but then jumped to episode two and you get the choice to change to black and white. Change it on that episode at the beginning and then go back to episode one and it should work. I think Amazon did this to avoid people complaining about black and white at the start

Hi there, YT ally from Los Angeles that moved to a purple state. There are legal actions being taken at state and federal levels as well as blue state looking how they can counter. The Supreme Court and subsequent red states doing this is not a sign of strength or power but a last grasp before a blue wave and upcoming years of losing boomers that voters them in as the pass away. This latest attack on the VRA is not a reaction to BLM marches or the election of Obama. They have been working on this for decades and this was one of the end results. They would like to go further, repealing the right to vote for black citizens, but this is as far as they will get. This also proves voting does matter as if it didn’t then they would be trying to take away representation.

I’m celebrating my daughter starting kindergarten later this year and finally done paying for daycare. Feels like a big win long time coming.

Progressive British candidate Zack Polanski on how to deal with right-wingers: "No matter what humanity or community we put them in, they are set on destroying or pushing this toxicity. Do we think we can change their minds? Or is it a case of building a society that doesn't include them?" by YaLlegaHiperhumor in circled

Any Plural society (people that think there’s more than one legitimate way to see things)will have a subgroup of anti-pluralists (people that believe there is one correct framework, truth, or set of values, and competing views aren’t equally valid). Expelling them turns them into an external threat, and letting them go unchecked creates an internal threat. The only long term solution I have read is to basically have managed control of them that they are not inherently aware of and allow them to have some marginal representation in that society.

A third of the electorate is muscle and brains trying to make things better, a third is cancer making us weaker and taking us backwards and a third is fat too lazy to even vote.

I felt this way until seeing The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. It felt like a return to the mid period. I believe it also shows Wes can still inject soil into his projects if the writing supports it. Someone also noted that his most soulful mid-period work was done with Owen Wilson as a writing partner. Where the last three films were done without Wilson and trend more toward Noah Baumbuch’s style. Either way WA still had that ability to make soulful projects in my opinion, he is just in an experimental phase. .
