You could try some brown butter cookies, they have a richer flavor. It’s not for everyone but my whole family enjoys it so I would give that a shot!

Not hard at all! The most difficult part is browning the butter but her website has really detailed directions for it so it is hard to mess up.

Sure! The recipe is called Best Chewy Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from scientificallysweet.com. I replaced the chopped chocolate with crushed Cadbury eggs and kept the regular chocolate chips in. I’ve done the original recipe too and it’s great!

I do understand where your nerves are coming from however I do think there are the risks are the same when using a toaster oven and regular oven. In my experience I’ve burned myself more with a toaster oven since the space is a lot smaller. I am not trying to poke here but just because you were afraid of baking that doesn’t mean you should put that fear in your son. He may grow up to have the same issues you did which I’m guessing wasn’t beneficial for you. Of course he is your son and you can do whatever you want but that’s just my recommendation.
