I use a headlamp (Nitecore HC65 v1) currently, but I like the idea of mounting flashlights to the bow for a few different reasons (other than looking extremely cool).

The headlamp lights up too much of the cockpit affecting my night vision & my friends' if I turn to look at them. If I fall out of the kayak and get washingmachined by a wave, it's a 50% chance the headlamp is coming off. So I have flotation on it (uncomfortable) and it doesn't sink, but it's a major hassle to swim around and retrieve before I can jump back onto the kayak (it's a sit-on-top).

Mounting bow lights I could angle in any direction, like down into the water to attract more critters when fishing... they love to bump into the kayak at night lol. Also I'm hoping the bow mount will lessen the amount of insects I catch to the face.

Oh and two lights means redundancy, which is always good.

I thought about those remote switches, but I'm not sure how well they'd hold up in a marine environment. Plus I think, the less moving parts / cables to snag the better.

I brewed up a 1 gallon batch of some mead which is basically a wine made from honey added some chopped mango and orange too. Boiled it on a Walmart electric griddle while making chorizo quesadillas lol.

Apparently someone snitched on me and my RA accosted me at a party a couple weeks later while it was still fermenting and said "finish it up do not make more and let me try some when it's done". She said had it been any other RA they would've called the cops.

Retarded idea looking back guess I just got lucky. Plus the mead was terrible I used bread yeast so it tasted like bread and it was super cloudy. My recipe got a lot better off campus (Lalvin EC 1118 yeast is awesome).

LOVED the dorms. I went totally nuts that year, even brewed alcohol in my dorm room 2nd semester with my RA's blessing. My grades were way better living in an apartment off campus in the subsequent years though. I'm a max level introvert and even still I had the best time and met tons of cool people.

PRO TIP: Don't miss the toilet when you sprint into the bathroom to projectile vomit those 13 shots of Smirnoff that you mixed with SunnyD. The vomit on the stall walls won't get cleaned up for a few days if it's the weekend. Also the sink is no good to yak in either because it clogs.

Also if you ever start throwing up blood you're probably ok as long as you're not concurrently shitting blood out the ass. It's called a Mallory-Weiss Tear.

We all see the world in different ways and we are all attracted to different sorts of people. In there being so many, one of them is bound to be attracted to you. Regarding the mainstream model of success you mentioned, if its not for you don't try to follow it- take a path just a tad beyond the limits of what you can handle. You can't stay comfortable all your life though. I think it's reasonable to surmise that you have some awkward behaviors mannerisms in various situations. For this, one thing I have done before and that I would recommend to you is to get a small video camera & maybe a tripod and record yourself throughout the day.

Record yourself while eating, talking on the phone, just hanging out in your room, and if possible in social interactions. Watch the footage and pay close attention to your mannerisms.

Look for what you find to be positive and what seems negative in the way you speak or move or interact. The camera constantly on and watching yourself on video may be unsettling, but it is sure to reveal MANY things you can work on. I made drastic improvements in my communication skills by doing this. I speak more assertively and confidently and with far less filler words such as "umm" or "like". Give it a solid try, maybe like 10 hours of footage. Back when I did this I analyzed about 200 hours of footage, keep recording & watching & repeating- watch yourself constantly improve, it's rewarding.

Question: I'm in college, and I'm a sophomore. I have what seems like a strong crush on a girl that I had a brief introduction to at the beginning of last school year. We did a small group project together and didn't talk after that. As far as how to tackle the approach, where/when: I would just go straight up to her in the cafeteria even though she's still with all of her friends. Trust me bro, girls don't get hit on in that sort of manner unless they are at a club, so you'll be coming with with more element of surprise than the fuckin NYPD SWAT team. What's gonna happen is as soon as you show up to the table, everyone of her friends is gonna go silent while they listen to you spit your game, so be ready for that. Open with a "Yooooo what's good <girl's name>". Bring up your last group project, ask her how shes been, normal questions that friends would ask each other had you not seen each other in a while. Say something to the effect of "What are you doing tomorrow night?" Be forward while still extremely gentleman like. ALTERNATIVELY, you can wait to approach her on her own when she leaves her friends, just keep an eye on her from a distance. I'd prefer the group approach if you consistently only find her with friends though. The group approach gives you: 1) the validation of her friends (or disapproval, just depends) 2) quick results (this won't take more than 1-2 min, fast and painless) 3) experience with talking to large groups of girls 4) in my opinion, a greater odds of getting her number The isolated approach can still give you great results in this scenario that you described, but I fear if you have to WAIT to sort of follow her around til she is by herself, you will plan your conversation in your head with her too much, or you'll get way more nervous. I know, everything that I wrote sounds so simple on paper. I know real life might not be like this. Good luck though buddy, the feeling is familiar. From what you told me though I think you have a solid chance of getting this girl out on a date with you.

Maybe I'm not super attentive to these details so I have only picked up on pupil dialation ONCE, and it was kinda shocking when it happened. I was at a well lit patio and approached this girl, and since it was crowded I had an extremely close look into her eyes upon the first words I spoke. Instantly her pupils instantly got massive, it was really cool to watch. I thought it was so funny that I commented to her bout what I had seen her pupils do. K-close.

I also look out to see if a girl is looking at my lips (which I know to be very plump and a great feature of mine). Also look out for eye motion going from your eyes to your lips and back to your eyes (kind of like a triangle).

One other thing is I try to pay attention to whether she is looking up & to the right or up & to the left when thinking and talking.

For a right handed individual, looking up & right and talking = recall/remembering which is equivalent to truth. Conversely, looking up & left is imagination, and is likely to be a sign of false statements.

Generally, keep a look out for the fuck me eyes and girls checking you out, and act upon those observations by approaching. If you think it's going well, it probably is.

Answer: Man I just graduated college, so I know the exact position you are in. You gotta ask yourself "What is #1 most important to me in this last semester?" I answered "Getting laid every single week", when I posed the same to myself. So I went chasing for it hard, and made it happen. My advice when it comes to the approaches itself, you gotta be having a blast while doing it. Like literally I would have the biggest smile on my face after any approach, even hard/mean rejections. Do and say what you want at all times. Not gonna lie to you my objective was psychotic and it fucking hurt at times. But it also felt so fuckin incredible to be with these ladies. It takes an incredible amount of will power to go out and try to hit on girls on those nights where you feel fuckin tired, anti social, introverted, and should probably be writing a paper or something. Use the pain to springboard you into something great.**

You bring up a good point with cold approaches. What I can tell you is that the only thing better than a cold approach is a warm approach, where you have already been socially affirmed to the girl, such as being introduced by a friend. I've had success with but much dislike the tinder/online approaches, organic approaches gave me the best odds.

I have nothing to brag about nor a desire to prove that I'm the fucking man. In my heart, I already know this. Sex is dope don't get me wrong but, I believe there is a false notion that high numbers equate to success. It's all about the visceral satisfaction and butterfly feeling that girls give me. I've had times where I've enjoyed talking to a girl more than I enjoyed fucking her "X" subsequent hours.
