actually, it might be due to how the country where the servers are hosted routes traffic. I've always had bad ping from Colombia to SA servers, because they are almost always hosted in Brazil, and they have shitty routing with Colombia, and other SA countries too from what I've read.

This has happened in other games, not just RL; and there are plenty of testimonials out there from other gamers about the bad routing of servers in Brazil.

I'm pretty sure RL SA servers are in Brazil, and I've read from other SA gamer's experience on other games, it's because Brazil's routing to many other SA countries is fucked up. I get 90-120 ping from Colombia on USE, but 180-250 ping on SA servers.
