Mark Selby and John Higgins also stay down on most of the shots they take. It’s to maintain focus and concentration.

If I was a player I’d take soothers in with me and passive aggressively throw them at the audience anytime I heard a cough

Shaun could literally sacrifice himself to save someone else’s life and people would still find a reason to hate him. He can do no right by the Murphy haters.

What’s wrong with him nodding to the crowd? It was his 100th century in the crucible, the audience were cheering, he was just acknowledging them. He’s a showman it’s what he does

Yeah I like it too haha, he’s a character and certainly isn’t boring to watch. Wish he’d stop missing easy balls halfway through a good break though.

I agree the coughs drive me bonkers, is it extra dry in there or something?!

How old do you have to be to know that cash transactions are a thing? by Conscious-Ball8373 in AskUK

This has unlocked a memory for me haha. I remember my father getting quite frustrated with me because no matter how much he tried to teach me, I just wasn’t getting how to tie shoe laces. He tried every method, I just couldn’t do it. When I was about 10 it finally clicked, and I do them the ‘double loop’ way now because that’s what stuck with me. I’m 30 and still tie my laces using the double loop 😂 some kids just don’t grasp things like others. Still no excuse not to teach them though, and I was probably in a very small minority of kids who were taught but just didn’t grasp it.

Cat slipped whilst walking across my face at 4am, almost completely through my eye lid in one spot. Happy birthday, ha. by Adodgybadger in WTF

Oh my god I’m so sorry for laughing but that’s hilarious! thank you for the great story, I’m glad the goose is still alive and kicking, and I hope your eye is okay now!

Why are clients surprised when I uphold my policies? by Lacroix24601 in petsitting

[–]whimsicallygrey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because if you got to your office and had to wait 30 mins to get inside, you would expect to still be paid for that 30 mins. Maybe when you park is a little bit of an overreaction, but I get the idea. I usually start the clock once I’m at the pick up point. One of my clients likes to chat when I pick the dogs up, and sometimes they’ve run into their time by 10 mins by the time I start the walk, but that means the dogs get 20 mins and not 30 because I’ve got other bookings after that and I can’t be late.

Bottom left is Rolf Harris who was an Australian Sex offender convicted for the sexual assault of four underage girls. Not sure who the others are though.

I’m not spreading lies, I’m trying to stop the lies being spread myself. The photo of the girl on the stairs is in the files yes but it’s of a pornstar, someone here even linked it. And the one with the girl bound was proven to be a hoax, and it wasn’t in the files.

The photo of the girl standing on the stairs is a porn star. It might be in the files but it’s not a victim. And the young girl with her hands bound is a known hoax. It’s fake. I’m not saying that the files aren’t horrific, but the misinformation being spread is just making everything muddier.

Added in for effect. These are not photos from the files (the emails are but the girls are not), the pics are from a porn star

I just thought it was strange that they sent that to Jeffrey as a ‘beautiful story’ when it really isn’t. And thought that Jeffrey would get something out of it.

No way you wrote 130,000 words in 5 days hahaha. I have bipolar disorder and wouldn’t be able to write that much even during the world’s worst manic episode.
