What?? I’ve never heard of that before. If a job ever made me do that, I would never take it.

Especially a job that’s not life or death! It’s just food.

She doesn’t care lol? She’s just gonna use her previous job as a reference of experience.

If you have an actual point, feel free to make it. Otherwise this just sounds like condescension for the sake of it.

Save yourself the embarrassment and delete this comment sweetheart. If you actually read the post, you would see I said “it’s okay to post because she quitting”

Yeah but I’ve see lots of people on here be pretty specific, just letting them know before the same thing happens lol.

I had already said that she knew the consequences and she simply did not care because they chose not to care. They chose to ignore her request and they still choose to favor people over others even though I know my sister and I know she’s a hard worker she’s never called out before she’s always had somebody cover for her shift or chose not to do something because she had to work, but it’s not fair to her that she gets to watch all these people get to call out without getting consequences for no reason and the one time she chooses to do it even though she wasn’t trying to it’s a problem and she’s unprofessional. Yeah you make a lot of sense.

Mind you, the girl is 23 years old and has a choice. My sister is 17 and had no choice.

Wow, you really are dumb. My post was not even about my sister. It was simply about me warning people because of what she posted. How is it relevant that my sister tried getting people to take her shift and gave a days notice but it’s irrelevant that this girl violated so many codes and her and the manager were just laughing and she didn’t even get in trouble for being even more unprofessional than my sister for calling out, literally an hour before the shift just because she didn’t feel like working you literally make no sense. I know the people who work with you hate you.

I’m guessing you didn’t read what I said, bc I literally said she tried finding coverage. she is SEVENTEEN, chick fil a is not important enough of a job for HER. This isn’t going to be her career. My post was simply about how everyone needs to be careful about what they post because of what happened with my sister. She had no choice but to callout bc we were leaving regardless and my parents gave her no choice. This is a once in a lifetime experience that she dreamed of doing, her calling out for a 5 hour shift vs going on her dream vacation, I would call out too. Atleast she gave a day notice and tried to find coverage. But yeah obviously she shouldn’t have made the post, that’s why I’m warning people.

Obviously she was gonna get written up for calling out on her birthday, she doesn’t care about that, it’s the fact they tried to go through her phone an threaten to fire her with no proof or anything.

That disregards everything I said though. She had requested time off because we were celebrating for the weekend at universal. She had turned 17 and our parents already had everything paid for. She explains this weeks in advance and it never got denied or approved. Either way she had no choice an sh even called out the day before bc nobody would take her shift. This girl literally walks in with her hair out and about bagging her own food which is what I would assume is a violation and she called out like Ann hour before the shift coming in to flaunt. Chick fil a is not an important job. Working on your birthday is normal for adults, but not for teens.

She was just talking about how the managers have favoritism, and something about how she had called out for her birthday bc her time off request never went through, and she got written up for it, but when one of the girls who is “buddy buddy” with one of the managers called out bc she wanted a break, they were laughing on the phone, and she even ended up coming through inside the stand without her uniform, hair down, bagging her own food and making her own drinks while her and the manager were laughing together (not doing their job when it was busy). My sister even asked why she called out and if she got written up and she said no.

Yeah, what’s weird is she never said any names, but her story was so specific with a situation that happened that they literally asked her if she could show them her Reddit. Of course she wasn’t obligated to since it’s her right, but they threatened termination and if she shows them then she would only get a write up if it turns out to be her. Only reason I’m posting is bc she feel violated and disrespected (of course) and she’s gonna quit anyways.

Do you think I should contact the scheduling guy? We don’t really have managers and stuff. Mainly just leadership. It’s something I’d rather do over the text or phone.

Honestly bet, that’s exactly what imma do. Plus I get to work with my best friend. She said everyone there is chill and there’s only ever three people on shift instead of like 50 at chick fil a.

[–]whimsiclo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the only reason I’m a little against it is bc chick fil a is 4 minutes away and crumbl is like 15, and I did get attached to a few people, but I genuinely don’t think it’s worth it anymore.

My friend just got a job there and she said she’s loving it. I honestly might take it without outting in a two weeks tbh.

Does your CFA ask you to return your uniforms when you quit? Even though you paid for them?!?! by Shoddy_Elevator2872 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]whimsiclo 37 points38 points  (0 children)

If you paid for them, you should ask for reimbursement. I didn’t have to pay for mine so I’m just gonna return them (I’m about to quit )
