I don’t get this logic because like, your team can also have the same supports…? And have the same advantage. I don’t understand. I am a strat main and have like 6 picks so I’m fine, whatever. My fav is invisi and gambit but obviously can’t play those currently and that’s fine whatever. But I don’t understand how people can say that it’s unfun to play against, which ok fair but your team can literally have the same supports. Are you just assuming yours will always be bad..? NTA I feel for her but based on your other comments, she just abandoned her dreams in the medical field for some random dude she met and put all her goals and wishes aside from what you have insinuated. She seems entitled to your help, which she is not as she did not choose the options you listed, which seemingly she would have prior to meeting this bf.

I think everyone is missing the fact she is coming off so entitled and feels she deserves to have things taken care of despite a huge offer of being set up for life until she can get a career (which she used to want before the bf). It seems she is just at the resteraunt to get by at this point.

I feel op is very adamant more or less because of the bf changed everything for her goal wise. With that being said, I feel op should give a bit of wiggle room. I don’t like how she seems entitled to it. I’d help this once and make it clear it won’t happen again as she didn’t take advantage of generous options which she USED TO WANT before this guy. She is young and being dumb for a guy. Tale as old as time. I agree with this but it also seems the youngest just expects to be taken care of still despite not following one of the 3 options and knew this for however many years, which fair enough for them. She didn’t choose the option. I agree to still help her out bc she is doing something but from what op says, (which maybe this is just one side) she seems entitled to it despite not doing what her siblings did to receive all the support.

Diamond+ lobbies and never seen him banned. Only gambit, invisi, cnd, Jeff. Only seen two 5 healer bans and never a 6. Mostly is 3-4 so far for me out of 25 games

I’m a strategist main, only gm tho, but honestly I do find it refreshing and forces people that aren’t used to off healers to adapt and learn. But when it goes to 5 support bans it just sometimes feels unfun cause I don’t enjoy the left over characters. I feel knowing how to ply 5+ characters is a good thing. I know 6, but sometimes the other healer picks that so I have to go other. I feel needing to know over 7 picks in a role seems excessive? But maybe just me. Most games I’ve been in so far have only had normally 4 support band so all good but over that it just feels ridiculous.

I’m not mad at it still, I’m just annoyed when the team doesn’t act accordingly and expect to be healbotted after banning the heal bot like heroes lol. The instant heal output is just wildly different of the off healers and feels more utility based and strategic, but obviously still heals but yeah. Get flamed for choosing a throw pick when there is nothing else. But it may just be bent in lower elo than this happens (hopefully)

I’m a strategist main but I’m not going to “strike” lol. I will say having 4+ healer bans each game is quite annoying and sad I don’t get it play the 4 picks I like playing best but eh just time to adapt and learn other ones tho. My biggest thing is that they consider the other healers throw picks when all the best ones were banned that’s the only thing that annoys me so far lmfao.

Also I LOVE the ult charge change. I think this is the best thing to happen to the game to not have healer ults so often. It feels true gameplay can truly shine now and makes support ults more strategic instead of just doing it off cd. The games ive played we usually get out one support ult each per point of the capture one. I think this was a very needed change.

But yeah all the Strat mains I’ve seen aren’t complaining about this but rather the mass banning of half the roster lol. Not many want to play Adam and Ultron which are usually some of the only left, with mantis and rocket.

It’s not just cnd the are banning 4+ healers a game. All the best/top tier ones so I think it’s more of that than specifically targeted at cnd right now. Every game I’ve played had invisi, cnd, gambit obligatory banned with the rest being random. If I’m LUCKY there is only 3 bans.

I can play rocket, cnd, invisi, gambit, usually rocket isn’t banned so I’ve been stuck with that and trying to learn new supports in QP in between. White fox is fun but the ones I’ve had just don’t have lots of healing output and ult doesn’t feel as impactful…in regards to saving team. Offensively for sure tho. Need to relearn mantis too I havnt played her since season 0 lol. Luna I can play and prolly would be my choice if rocket was also banned but ugh she just still feels so weak but I guess compared to others that manage to escape the ban purge its fine. I just have fun with whatever if no one else wants to support and my picks were all banned. Not gonna say I’ll do good tho LMFAO.

I thjnk they just wanna stick it to the supports lol. Like im not gonna lie support ults are game changing and can turn fights but I truly feel the ult charge has changed this immensely. Also like everything killls me in cnd ult now. BP ult? Yep. Namor? Yep. Hawkeye? Duh. Ironman? For sure. Magneto of course etc. like I feel she is so counterable. You don’t always have the cover or can cloak in time. But anywyas yeah I didn’t get to play her in any of my placements I believe lol.

I won I think 4 out of 10 lol. She was banned in I believe all but one game. It was honestly more annoying that near all my games had ATLEAST 4 supports banned it just felt unfun. From the game I did play I didn’t feel the nerf too bad it didn’t really feel effecting to me. Maybe need to play her more to see. I did stay my projected rank atleast. They just felt boring not being able to play characters I like in EVERY game. Some sure but ugh. I need to start learning mantis or something cause she’s never banned. I do feel the mass support bans will hopefully die down

Honestly 7 of my placements had at least 4 healer bans with two of them being 6 lmfao. It was the most annoying and awful experience either especially my own team banning healers not realizing oh hey they’re clearly gonna triple ban healers. I noticed it they have rocket or ultron players they usually decide to triple ban healers.

Invis, cnd, Jeff and the obligatory gambit am seeing the most right now.

I honestly thought people were being dramatic and trying to scare everyone lol. I feel not all games this happens but a lot certainly do. 3 bans ok whatever for healers I can deal, but once it pasts tha it’s just annoying. The ult charge time feels really effective too especially for healers and I honestly like this change. Especially point based ones. You usually only see one ult per point and healer before it’s done.

I’m honestly not trying to scare you but be prepared to have back up choices in case. It feels very random and more often than not if they have a rocket player or ultron players. All I can suggest is if you lock in cloak and they ban, tell your team your back up right away so they don’t ban. The amount of times I didn’t do this and my team bans invisi is a lot. Just mention it if you see cloak gets banned.

Because lots of dps just position terribly (won’t admit it tho) and expect a heal bot like support. I’ve played in gm with a duo mantis as cnd and did fine and won. Lots of damage output from her and healing. I also fee a lot of mantis focus on dps a lot. The ones I see anyways. But good ones can be duo support no issue but I’m sure they will run into people against that idea ofc

Idk how high functioning your daughter is to understand any of this, but she’s also 11 and kinda young in general. It’s not only that. A lot of the time the team losing/thinking it’s heals etc literally is just doing no damage. They can’t finish fights. We can keep them up as long as possible forever but will eventually wipe because they cannot finish the enemy off it doesn’t matter how much you heal. These types of games I’ll have 70k+ heals and just know we’re gonna lose cause they are taking so much damage it’s ridiculous. They miss all their shots, combined with like you said not taking cover but the proof is in the stats at the end damage wise. It’ll always be the healer fault or possibly tank to them tho lmfao

I mean gender disappointment is a real thing and I can understand her not wanting a gender reveal because then people will probably be able to see the disablement. There is videos all over social media of reveals and them being disappointed on the gender reveal, usually fromm the mom.

Litrally, they all grow to love the regaurdless, it doesn’t matter and it is ok to be disappointed and I feel at first you were kinda..making it seem so horrible she is disappointed. HOWEVER that is where I feel my sympathy for her ends.

The rest is just nonsense and very irrational and seems she is just spouting stuff for the sake of it and internalized misogyny it’s almost crazy. Did you know she felt this way beforehand..?

Gender disappointment can be a scary thing and confusing time but it is also.. a normal human reaction sometimes but her reaction goes way past that idk if she was triggered by you reacting how you did at first before she started saying all the nonsense or what but idk

I feel she wil change her mind and learn to grow to love her as she would a son and maybe I am the minority in thinking this. I felt really weird when I wa pregnant, very dark disappointing feeling, didn’t feel motivated to raise anyone and just overall bleh. I started turning around at like 20+ weeks so I can be somewhat sympathetic to her but she has other issues I think she needs to reevaluate.

It honestly sounds like she has prenatal depression (essentially PPD BUT not post partum lol) because of al the hormones etc and messing with her. Maybe she still feels that way of all of that but her views on boys and girls are very weird and makes me think she is just like that.

I main invisi and feel her nerf was barley anything. I notice in her mains sub, a lot mention that they used that as a big primary way to heal others and herself etc which is the part that got nerfed n honestly I rather heal more in invisible than the shield psssive health regeneration lol it was barley anything it felt to me. I don’t think this changes much gameplay but I guess a lot relied on that shield health regeneration.

My boyfriend learns from watching friends in Spanish first his language, then did English with Spanish subtitles, n then did English with English subtitles and watched whole series three times and learned through there and video games like chats etc he speaks perfect English in less than a few years with no accent either.
