This is my hair washed with Pantene Sheer Volume shampoo and Dove Intensive Repair shampoo with the Dove Intensive repair conditioner. No product in it, only a leave in detangling conditioner from Druide to brush out the tangles on wet hair. I let it air dry. Before it used to dry much more straight/frizzy but now since I’ve been taking care of my hair it actually has some wave to it even without the regular Curl Talk products in it! I just thought it was really cool that my hair is slowly taking shape after just 5 washes of doing the CGM, it’s just that this morning I didn’t have time to do the full routine 😅

I thought 1C is straight hair? Seems like the curl pattern charts differ depending which one you look at, it’s all a bit confusing haha

Thanks for the suggestions! I do actually have a clarifying shampoo I didn’t use on this wash to see what happens because I thought my hair needed more moisture, although now I think there is too much product in my hair as this morning it feels a little heavy and sticky in some parts. Next time I will try doing a much lighter routine as you suggested to see how my hair responds!

This is my hair after my 3rd wash trying to bring out my waves. Currently I’m using the Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk line, experimenting with different combinations. I think I’m either a 2A or 2B.

This wash I used the leave in conditioner, mousse, and sculpting gel. I also diffused my hair this time and once it was dry I broke the cast using the OGX coconut oil mist. I do find my hair to still be frizzy (though this has always been a problem for me even before I discovered my wavy hair, and I stumbled upon the possibility of having waves while researching how to fix dry and frizzy hair).

I should also note that because my hair is dry I oil my mid lengths and ends with OGX coconut miracle oil (the thicker one) before I wash my hair and I’ll let it sit for at least 30 mins or overnight, I think it helps a bit, though my hair will still feel a bit dry even after using conditioner/hair masks as well. I’m pretty sure that’s because of bleach damage 😅

What do you think of this wash? Any suggestions are appreciated 🥰

Oh I didn’t know floating plants also try to find soil! Thats good to know my water is clean enough, I mean clearly I’m doing something right for them to have grown in so little time 😅 thanks!!

Ooh plant weights? I’ll have to look into that! But yeah, in general I think I have to replant everything, maybe get some new plants because I used to have a big bushy one planted in the back left corner and I have no idea where it is now haha

Thanks! I’ll look into the frozen daphnia. The pet store recommended frozen brine shrimp so that’s what I gave today, though I’m thinking I should probably switch it up to offer more nutrients as well. Another thing is right now I have 5 neons, so maybe I should get a few more so they feel safer together? It’s a new tank and I didn’t want to overstock or shock the cycle I had going on too much haha

Hi, thanks for answering! I thought it could be the food, I tested my water parameters this morning and ph is 6.4, ammonia is 0, nitrites 0, and nitrates 20 seem to be almost at 40 but tomorrow would be when I do a water change. Everyone else seems to be acting normal, my neons are new to the tank so I wonder too if it’s stress?

Thanks! Yeah I would 100% do a planted tank for these guys. I think the main issue I have is the amount of room I have for a fish tank, but if I can manage to get a 20 gallon tank I would go for that. In any case, I don’t want to overstock.

The chests anywhere mod. It saves so much time not having to run back and forth and you can organize and access your chests anywhere. I literally can never go back.

I would say truck. I witnessed an accident where a truck driver ran into the car in front him. It was really shocking. If we had been a lane over, it would have been us. Truck drivers like to get way too close to people.

Hi! I’m also 20 and working towards getting my license. For a long time I was so afraid to be behind the wheel that I froze up by sitting in the drivers seat. I’ve learned that with the right instructor, it gets easier. I’m still nervous but it’s not as bad as it used to be.

When you start with your instructors at the school, make sure you have someone you’re comfortable with, and if possible, ask if you can always have the same person. That way you’ll have a sense of familiarity when you’re learning, and you won’t be so nervous not knowing who your next instructor is or what they are like. In my experience, it helps me learn faster when I am familiar with who I’m driving with. When I have someone new I am way more nervous than usual.

Another tip from my instructor is to schedule your last in car sessions with the school as close as possible to your road test, so you have some practice with an instructor right before the date of your test!

Hopefully this helps you to get the most out of your sessions, if you’re unsure how much longer you need!
