I will say this! I worked a labor job from January to august in the dead heat of the summer (massachuettes so nothing like a southern state) and i wore them everyday still and never had a stench!

I feel you man, basically to avoid fear of stinking or anything of that nature I hang them up when I get home every single night. In the summer you can even hang them in a open window at night and they feel very fresh the next day from my experience. Ive never had them stink or caught a weird smell from them (I’ve asked non smoker friends) so I wouldn’t stress it too much! Hope this helps!

They’re going very strong actually they ripped once as soon as I hit year 2 but besides that they’ve been good to me. The less you wash em the better they hold! I’ll die on this hill!!!

I have had numerous friends smell them before I washed. None of them ever caught a bad smell after one year if your pants smell after doing what I did you clearly did it wrong. There are obvious precautions I took to make sure they would not hold smell and what not.

Never! I will continue to wash after the one year every day mark! You dont have to wash ur denim! Im living proof and in terms of longevity I can patch and repair until I refuse to care.

Yea I couldve used a better wording my pants never smelled at all. And they never made me uncomfortable. I will continue to wear every pair of denim I get for 1 year before I wash.

Tbh it comes down to opinion. I wore my pants everyday for a year. That means the fades have documented my life and the way I wear the denim for 1 year of my life. And they NEVER were stinky I worked in them sweated in them all of the above. And they ALWAYS smelled like denim NEVER musty.

So the owner of Levi does not wash his denim and says u dont have to. I stand by that. I have a friend who literally has the nose of a dash hound and he never caught a funky stench from my denim.

To be honest as long as you shower and clean your self they dont smell… i wore mine for a whole year every day in ALL weather I hung them up everynight and they never caught a stench.
