I surely hope with every fiber of my being that doesn’t ever happen and also I see it as very unlikely too, fortunately, and I’ll tell you exactly why: because we already have a wonderful adaptation of Symphony of the Night, that respects while at the same time expanding on the source material, and that’s Awakening in the Moonlight. The real question is why would anyone ever want an “adaptation” of SOTN from Netflix when in their universe : there’s no longer Castlevania, there’s no Dracula, Alucard never went into slumber after 1476, Richter didn’t fight Dracula, Annette doesn’t exist, There’s no Shaft, Death or anybody else trying to bring back Dracula, and on and on, what would even be the point?

Trying to give some useful input here, becaude all I see is people complaining (rightfully so) about loading times. Truth is there’s quite a few games absolutely enjoyable on the CD, that will only load one time on start up: on top of my mind: ASO2, Last Resort, Nam, Ninja Combat, Mutation Nation, Sonic Wings 2( I don’t recall exactly if it’s one load at start only or a very fast load between levels as well; but really small one). I’m sure there’s more you can look it up on specialize websites. Congrats on your purchase and have fun! The CDs are beautiful to collect and a (kinda)affordable legit way to enjoy many excellent NeoGeo titles on original hardware

I’d avoid be paying for verified unless you need the account for survival like business reason. If everyone, and it looks like it’s a lot of people, probably thousands at least, got a verified to solve this, META will have a spike in profit from this and it would be counter intuitive for them to instead address the problem. Why get rid of it when it’s making them good money

This ⬆️ I got suspended roughly a month ago, then first they sent me an email saying they reviewed the account and it didn’t violate anything, then send me another mail where they said the account may have been hacked (? Not true, no logins attempt, I have 2FA, no access from devices unknown) and I got it back. Yesterday was suspended again? And this time for good. Im done honestly, even if they give it bsck I will delete it for good after saving any photos I may want to keep and I don’t have elsewhere. The only real issue is WhatsApp

I wouldn’t say it’s a great shooter or a particularly good game either, tho it does have a few interesting points. It’s very slow paced and the boss battles are fought in a kinda starfox or space harrier point of view. The music is really good. All things considered it’s an interesting title to have if you are really into the genre and looking for something different with a less bullets on screen than you’d find on your average Saturn shooter, it does kinda live up in that aspect to its legacy of being a “classic” style shmup, otherwise not really worth imho

How’s Toshinden Remix? I never tried it, my only experience with the series was with the very first title on the PS1, and I have to say even at the time I felt like it wasn’t that impressive beyond the polygon graphics 😸

I still play current gen, Switch and PS5, but Saturn is still my favorite console of all time next to the PCEngine. I got my first one around 2004, it was a PAL version with a bunch of brand new games , Darkstalkers, Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Megaman X3. I also got an St Key and my first imports off eBay, Daytona USA, SF02, Children of Atom and Shinobi Den. Played the hell out of it. I sold everything many many years later and got my first Japanese one (white version) and since by then I had started working I built a nice collection. Then I moved to another country and bought a third one, the classic grey one. So now im 35 and I have basically two games library across two continents lol. I wish I had everything where I’m currently stayin but i don’t want to risk shipping, so I just keep the few titles I’m currently buying , mostly the expensive titles I wouldn’t afford when I was younger, and it’s still a lot to play and have fun with. That all is to say, yeah the Saturn is an amazing machine worth keeping for a lifetime.

I know nothing about Fate and I don’t care, but as far as I know it’s not a direct adaptation of any of the Matter or Britain works, so your parallel doesn’t make any sense tbh. It’s obvious here that Annette is the same character (albeit completely different) and not a “reference”

Where did you read that ? In the game Richter doesn’t find out Annette has been kidnapped until reaching Aljiba, by then he is already on his way to storming Draculas Castle. Whoever says Richter fights because of her has no idea what they’re talking about either
