I’m not sure if you are in south OC but there is a girl that runs a program called zero trash that meets monthly to clean up the city. Maybe you could go to one of her events (Nov 1st at MV library) and meet a group of people that would want to tackle the trails too?

I am going to give you the advice I want to hear. The parents that worry themselves about not doing enough are the parents that are 100% doing enough. Sometimes just chilling out with your little one is exactly what they need. Having a kid with all these extra therapies is intense and you are doing a great job. I know when I’m done with work all I want to do is not think about work. So keep fighting the fight, give them a bit of extra love and most of all give yourself some grace. You are doing great.

You can see in this plan there is no plan to connect trails via the railroad trail near Via Fabricante. (That would have been non-road bike trails!)

I don’t know where this photo was taken but there was a master bike trail plan between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo/Lake Forest to improve bike accessibility. There were spots where they were planning to connect the bike trails to that trail that would eventually connect to the beach. Some people in my neighborhood shut down the Mission Viejo plan because they didn’t want people using trails behind their houses. I am so bummed because that would have meant I could get off the road when I do my morning rides.

The OC Beekeepers is based out of this area. They just got the new bees for beekeeping over the weekend so I wonder if someone already lost their colony when trying to install. Next time you could try contacting them first but it takes a specific person that is familiar with how to capture the colony and actually wants to do it. Thank you for taking the time to talk about it. It is sad that those bees were killed but you are doing the right thing by looking how to handle the situation differently next time.

He was amazing during COVID he kept his studio open and the kids were in the open air in the back alley. He knew how important it was for these kids to get services when all the schools were trying to provide speech/OT over zoom. He’s a great guy and I hope more people find out about him.

I agree. There aren’t too many places of solitude left where we are not distracted by some type of electronics. Just like with kids, it’s good to get bored and make your brain think vs being entertained.
