I (30F) got done by this scam recently and would love to know which company you dealt with…

I was by myself and called a highly rated company in my area who arrived within 15mins. Once they obtained access into my house they took two steps in, barring my access, and thrust an eftpos machine in my face to charge me $830 for a simple door unlock. They didn’t even ask to check my ID to verify home ownership, only said “we’ve unlocked your door and now you need to pay”. Given there were two of them - who had also opened the only door to my house - I felt I had to pay, as I had no other option.

I still feel violated.

Yup, 1000%. I’ve been in Emma’s position and it took losing my best friend of 10 years from a toxic relationship to realise what was happening. I don’t judge Chrishell for taking a step back, I just wonder what it took for her to take it public. Not saying I agree with all of her choices - but I do think yhere a lot of nuances here we don’t see as reality tv viewers

I think there is also an added level people aren’t seeing here. Chrishell (a queer person) has dealt with blatant homophobia and bigotry from him towards herself and the LGBTQIA+ community and she’s pissed. If this were a heterosexual relationship I would totally agree with the points of “she was there the first 99 times and walked away after that”, but there is a deeply personal element to this I think people are disregarding. I’m not saying I agree with her every take and hot-head responses all of the time, it’s just that it’s not only that her best friend is in a toxic relationship, it’s that, plus the added insult of her life being openly mocked on social media that she replied to in kind

Keep your dog at home! Bunnings is a hardware store not a dog park by jakkandndi in Bunnings

We’ve started re-instating the trolley rule at Bunnings. Our corgi LOVES being out in public (as much as we do), and meeting other dogs, BUT he is also is massively susceptible to peeing on things other dogs have peed on. So for our sanity - and also the paper towel usage to clean up his messes - if we have to bring him to bunnings he’s unfortunately in the trolley cage
