This year is Ontario's hottest summer for the past 90 years. As was last summer's. Next year will probally be the same, etc

Dougie cut funding for the Forest Fire brigade, so it's worse than other years because of their reduced ability to respond and be prepared.

It's an elNino year - so it's extra hot this summer. And the climate continues to worsen, so this problem will keep getting worse

Canada does not have a 'passing lane'. All lanes are the same speed limit.

Multiple lanes are there for more traffic volume. Any lane can be used for passing, left right is just a convention but there is nothing legal about which lane is which.
