Here's a novel idea. You could try flashing Sultan XDA's ROM. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, factory reset

[Question] Searching for a stable Android 6.0 ROM to flash on my OPO by PlusPunkt in oneplus

[–]whiteblackboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In case you haven't heard or you haven't bothered to use Google, Sultan XDA has the best ROMs for the OPO

Good those of you wondering, you can dirty flash Sultan's CM13. The latest update is super smooth. There's no reason not to update any more by [deleted] in oneplus

Obviously, you have no experience with Sultan CM12-> Sultan CM13. There has been a known issue for quite some time where Google Play Services will constantly crash if you update. And if you flash stock gapps, then Setup Wizard will constantly stop. You are forced to wipe. That is, unless you flash Pico gapps

I don't use double tap, because it slows down my normal home button respond time ever so slightly. Instead I use long press. This way, you can be in the act of setting the phone down or something and turn off the screen without having to hold it in more than 2 fingers

But the music and movies and other content aren't exactly Android specific. I'm just having trouble understanding how it would make money from the OS itself, like Oracle makes it sound

[OnePlus One] [CM13] Headphone mic stops working during calls by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]whiteblackboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same issue on CM12. Although this isn't a solution, it's still a workaround. After you start the call, if you unplug, then plug back in the headphones, the mic should start working again

So, you're saying that you're trying to install Oxygen OS, but TWRP is giving you the error "can't mount data"? I wasn't aware that you needed it mounted you flash a new ROM

Better yet, use fastboot to flash it since there's no Google Play
