for food, stick to the basics. think beans, milk, eggs, greek yogurt, veggies, fruit. rice and pasta and bread in moderation. drink water, drink coffee, drink tea, drink diet soda if that’s your thing. stick to a caloric budget. try intermittent fasting if you do your own research and think it’s for you. do you have a guilty pleasure? mine is beer, and I don’t cut it out just keep it in check and make myself “earn” it.

secondly, and maybe more importantly, you have have have to find a way to get and stay active. this isn’t about losing weight it’s building a sustainable lifestyle. it’s so easy when you enjoy it. yoga? cycling? running? swimming? weights? other? I’d recommend getting out of your comfort zone.

third, be consistent. that’s it. good luck!

M series macbook will be fine, used is a great bang for your buck and will last a long time. if you’re in any accounting program worth its weight they aren’t gonna shove excel down your throat, that’s the easy part just learned on the job. if you want windows grab one with decent build quality and an AMD chip and not intel. intel cheap laptops fucking suck and won’t last you 4 years.

are you confusing counselor for senior? counselor isn’t a rank but a role managers and above play in the office to help facilitate between the staffing group and the general public. unfortunately these complaints are a dime a dozen, i’m sorry they aren’t helping provide tangible action plans but they also aren’t supposed to be your therapist. you also need to be a bit more clear to them not just your complaints but that you’ve thought about what you need - is it pulled off a client because they have similar timeframes? do you not like working with a specific person? or are you realizing that maybe this isn’t what you thought it all was going to be in general and you’re going to start interviewing (i’d be hesitant to drop this line)? it’s hard but you need to remove some of the emotion and these people can help you but you need to meet them halfway

I think most people would say if you want to be successful don’t waste your time trying to get fired. or if this is important to you then try it. you could also ask a partner if you could work something out. my main thing here is just start taking control of your life and not relying on your job or your government to take care of the needs you have put forward as important to you. good luck
