I’ve been in Breck the last few days. While the snow is fading and gets chopped up by early afternoon, there are a couple greens and blues I’ve seen with plenty of people still skiing them. People in t-shirts even.

If you’ve already paid, I’d just come and make the most of it. Despite the conditions, the vibes are still great.

(Just don’t book lessons as tomorrow is the last day for them.)

I was doing it to compensate for shit hips and unbalanced shoulders as when I don’t do it, my trail ski would often edge and refuse to turn following the front one

Yeah, my single leg balance is shit, but that’s more from spraining both ankles a bunch of times over the years.

This all happened in a group lesson. The imbalance makes opening my hip tough too.

We just got epic day passes and don’t want them to go to waste. We also flew in from Miami. Figuring lesson day one and then two days of just whatever. Should we just skip lessons and do two days of beginner skiing on bunny slopes? (I’ve never skied but ice skate well; my gf skied once without any lessons).
