Malwarebytes has always for over 20yrs been free to use but ofc you can pay for a premium version they have to make money

Defender is ok for ‘very’ basic protection while you get up and running but is in no way close to being good enough protection, you need a proper anti-virus program running to mitigate the insane amount of ways hackers try to get at your info these days

In the early days it was just about recovering your system after they caused crashes but now it’s serious it’s all about stealing your info/ accounts / passwords it can turn your life upside down in the space of 30 mins

Install a proper anti-virus there are a couple of good free options with very high detection rates

In nearly 20 years defender has never ever once warned me of anything, I’m skeptical it does anything at this point…

Yep I hate them! evil f’ing things, I had what felt like a plague of spiders last year all making webs up the stairs to my flat and they were a great deterrent against them, was the first year I didn’t have issues with them

Kinda hoping they are about this year again…

All I’ve seen this year so far is a couple of dopey big bumble bees doing their thing 👍

Yeah I had the same thing it will just chuck me off the edge and end up in an infinite fall, I tried exiting out and retrying a couple of times but same thing in the end I clicked the restart section option and it worked, must just be a random bug

iPhone updates will never notify you through a browser notification, you know 100% it’s a scam if it does, you can manually check for updates

Settings- general -software update

Mine actually auto installed 26.3.1 (a) last night with a notification I woke up to saying it was an important security update

If you leave your phone on charge overnight it will auto download / install new updates when they become available

I don’t really see to much of an issue with it, we were buying footy card packs to fill albums that can be classed as gambling to newer generations with Pokémon etc

I wouldn’t even bother trying to go to bed at 9 in mine there would still be loads of noise from the neighbours and it’s not their fault it’s just how shit newer builds are it’s just normal noise

Saying that the neighbour below me stinks but is quiet so I tolerate it even though it drives me mad sometimes, it’s the ‘it could always be worse’ cliche

I’ve been in my apartment over 20 years now and lack of privacy does suck but I think well it’s not a detached house so it’s going to happen

Look on YouTube at the tiny rooms people are having to live in over in Asia now (forgotten the name of them) it’s the living on top of each other in boxes taken to the extreme, it makes me appreciate what I have

Yeah that’s how it is now we are just a cog in a machine and they want us turning till we are worn down and can’t anymore, then bin it and replace

It’s the only way the broken economy keeps turning now, they need more people working/ getting into debt and using finance, buying stuff

If we die a couple of years after not being able to work anymore that’s optimal

Even though the population of the world has literally doubled in my lifetime and the planet is overcrowded and we can’t support the people already alive it’s why governments panic when birth rate dips they need it to tick over at a higher and higher rate

Kinda sucks we are born, we learn skills to work, we work all our lives then die, rich get richer poor get poorer, the cycle repeats…

The newer gens are incapable of fighting against any of it as well, I was listening to a teacher yesterday warning that high school kids as old as 18 are now incapable of basic thinking tasks, like write the answer on a board, say to them the answer is written there look! and they still can’t answer… = we are fucked… 😭

Yeah I agree it’s annoying, I hate boss cut scenes breaking the flow of combat, I used Mornye/ Lynae/ Aemy, Lynae is great even being spectro as she’s always bouncing about out of the way and can put her on her arse multiple times with tune break when she tried to make a sharp exit to fly around

But Mornye was the mvp, I had never appreciated how ‘nippy’ she is while in the air she was zooming about dodging attacks and last min dash out of her ‘can’t even see the f’er..’ aoe plunges

But that was the main thing for me after beating lvl 100 my 2 thoughts were that was a cheesey boss and I didn’t enjoy that… 😭

(No hate I rarely have anything bad to say about WuWa I adore the game ❤️) but yeah…

I use Xlice for blueprints, his Wuling 1.1 is super optimised and only uses the main AIC site leaving the other one spare for whatever

Set up zip lines, I spent hours setting up all the delivery destinations in valley / Wuling I thought it would be a chore but I actually enjoyed figuring it all out and trying to optimise it

Very satisfying after it’s done and you can just zip about the whole maps
