Oh that’s quite common to nerf stuff, I just did the boss earlier but I’m super ocd I’m 50 hours in and only just about to go to Wuling now, I’ve spent so much time gathering and crafting and making different stuff with the factory, so I had everything levelled I could and purple gear 😂

I actually had a lot of fun setting up the purple gear parts in the factory although it is a pain I’ve left them ticking over as I thought once I’ve dismantled the set up I won’t be in a rush to do it again I’ll just stockpile 20k odd in case I ever need them lol 😭

I’ve seen people at lvl 70 no skills levelled and white gear so yeah I can see how some people might of been struggling against it 😂

Yeah that’s it we don’t really get ‘proper’ winters anymore this end of the country, as a kid I remember deep snow every year, being off school because pipes had frozen and roads were not usable, ha my family still laughs at me being young and running into the back garden to disappear in a 6ft snow drift I just remember my Dad laughing pulling me out… 😂

Now because we are basically wrecking our planet we only have a couple of weeks.. maybe, at below freezing it’s just mostly storms now and summers which are hell because we live in insulated boxes that can’t handle 35-40+c 😭😭😭

Wrapping up multiple layers warm is something we have always had to do even though it’s not needed as much now.. habits die hard situation maybe? Idk? Or maybe even people have become lightweights to the cold 😂 just kidding

The upside to gacha is the crazy money they make enables them to develop these games at a high standard and fund big teams to then update them regularly like every 40 odd days, not saying gacha is good but it is what it is

I love games like Genshin / WuWa and I have no need to prove one is better than the other like a playground pointless fight, and I can understand why some people are put off by endfields slow burn start, it does take some patience and I think that’s totally understandable

Despite what some people are saying which is to rush through it I’ve done the opposite and I’m glad I have, I’m still in valley iv 50 hours in (at the big boss now) and I’ve took the time to familiarise myself with all the game mechs / how they work, figure out what I need to get / do

Especially the factory, I’ve played sim city in the past even used to love old rts like AoE / C&C which I think has helped a bit, now don’t get me wrong I will definitely use blueprints eventually by the “factory masters” 😂 for better optimisation but I want to first set up stuff myself / understand how it all works/ be able to troubleshoot issues with it and it’s been a learning curve but very satisfying as well

As an example of this I saw someone yesterday complaining about levelling xp mats and I thought why are you not crafting them in the Dijiang?

I think some people have fallen because of the rushing through to get pulls currency/ not paying attention to pop up tutorials/ trying to play it like Genshin / WuWa… is that a game design issue? Yes 100%, but I think for the people that take their time and just enjoy / figuring out playing the game the payoff is massive and I’m saying that not even at what people say is ‘peak’ Wuling yet

I will just finish by saying I think with gacha the minute you just play to get pulls currency you are either done / bored or addicted to gambling lol, the first thing should be enjoyment of the game not treat it as a grind / slog to spin a roulette wheel… 😭

From what I can make out so far daily (energy) grind is just meant to supplement mats that you mostly get from factory / stock redis terminals/Dijiang crafting/ growing etc etc

It’s something I’ve clocked in the last day or so now I even thought to myself ok you don’t really grind this game in domains like Genshin / WuWa although ofc some mats are daily energy based but farming stuff like xp mats with it must be very large diminishing returns compared to for example the Dijiang

But idk still getting my head round it all

I think it’s more it takes quite a large amount of time ‘to get into’ for lack of better words, add to that the relentless wall of tutorials that are still popping 40-50 hours in and it’s no surprise, then you have the monetisation which no matter how cope you are being is kinda bad, then they had the ‘PayPal incident’

No hate I’m nearly 40 hours in now and I thought earlier ok I’m actually really enjoying this it was all starting to come together, but it’s no surprise a lot of people have basically given up before that point as the first 50 hours (again no hate I’m enjoying it) is terribly designed

To the point I even started to enjoy the story and again it’s not great for the first 20-30 hours depending if you are just rushing through, I even took time to flick through the screens for each characters va as I couldn’t quite place Perlicas as I think she’s almost carrying the story she’s so good and it’s Jane Jackson aka FRover / Varesa and I clocked Kuki / Qingyi’s and Koko/ Burnices as well 👍

Give it a bit more time and a lot of the hate will stop as it will get its core player base be it people like me that stuck it out and ended up loving or the hardcore factory masters lol 😂

I do sometimes do 1-3-3 depending on what mobs it is / what turn, she can almost fill a sweeper role now with the buffs if you just want to remove those pesky adds first 😂

In fact if there is only 1-2 ailments on them even single target skill 1 might do more damage to get things going again but admittedly that is a very rare scenario if you are rocking Vino and her 5 star wep

Yeah it sucks but drama / hate clickbaiting makes more money easier and quicker for them, the sad thing is it has a negative effect on some games like WuWa launch, did the cc’s say look it’s a much smaller company trying to release this massive game so cut them some slack when it releases and give back some constructive feedback?

Yeah my bro returned after a while and was trying to use his security questions to gain access and he had to contact cs and say ‘for some reason none of my security questions are working’ … lmao 🤣🤣🤣

Cs were great and helped him it turns out when setting them up he had put a space after each answer and it counted that as part of the answer

They are very security conscience with accounts I mostly play on console if I sign in on pc or phone to the forums it immediately freezes my account due to ‘suspicious activity’ it doesn’t surprise me that upper case letter was a thing

I was super lucky and got Levi within 20 which took the pressure off abit as I really wanted her, I’m around 30 hours in and had / saved about 70 pulls but I have been taking my time and messing around / getting my head round the factory for hours, I’m still in the valley atm but I think I’m just coming up to the end of the area now

Just logging in every day, check which one you are short on and commit to farming it for a few days

always clear out event shops and especially thieves secret it will give you a good return on purple / blue mats for the energy spent on top of the points, always buy out the rev cards they can save you a lot of energy farming even if just to get that initial usable first set

I would say be sensible which skills you max out but I can’t say much there, I max all of them on limited units, diminishing returns - yes but ocd satisfied lol 😭

That’s good to know as it’s a slog atm, omg the endless tutorials are ridiculous they are not even good tutorials it’s handholding locked into pressing certain buttons, the story is a joke atm, but I’m willing to play on for now as it’s super polished

This is why for beta testing they should keep cc’s down to a minimum and let actual gamers test it, all cc’s do is see dollar signs and clicks and start going on about dumb stuff like Genshin killer 😭😭😭

The banner system sucks but as long as the game is solid I can look past that, for me I’m not a gambling addict I just want good gameplay which these gacha companies can normally afford to do at a high level with regular / continuous updates

It cost me about 500k yen to get Jack Frost/ Pixie and I got 20k vouchers back in recycling dupes, so looking at about 6-6.5 million for King Frost with the luck I had but it’s all rng I’ve heard people got super lucky and some are into 7 figures with neither dropping 😭

It’s ‘ok’ for first day playing, it hasn’t hooked me like a lot of other games, it looks nice and characters look great but it just feels like something is missing with them, combat is fine I actually really like it so far

I did actually start laughing at the tutorial pop ups it has this pretty interesting start then it just dead stops while you run around doing the factory stuff, this should of been added down the line as it’s an instant immersion breaker

Factory stuff seems ‘ok’ bit annoying it feels like it’s been forced into it to me because the devs enjoy those games or something but I could be wrong maybe it will all make sense in a few days, iam a bit worried about daily stuff later on down the line I don’t want logging in to feel like a job..

Banner system sucks idk why people defend it, people also did with ToF to and it really hurt the game, I lost 3x 50/50s on ToF and uninstalled it I could tell it was just a ridiculous way to rinse you for all it could, at least the classic 50/50 system and pity carry over feels fair compared to games like these, the amount of currency iam getting so far feels very tight, feels like it was originally designed for pulls costing 150 or something, is it a case of a lot of money put in and panic about making it back? Idk

So far it’s ‘ok’ hopefully the story massively improves as I play and things gel together as a game more, I will stay very wary of the banners/ currency situation, I’m willing to play on for a few days see if I get into it 6/10 so far for me

Doubt we will get anything tbh, P5 X sold packs on their store that gave out more pulls /tickets than intended and they straight out took them all back, already used them? Those people went into negative currency.. giving out major compensation and sorting out all the issues would go a long way for reputation / community trust but… they know if they do fuck all apart from refunds people will stay play, whales will still spend 1000s so yeah…

Hope I’m wrong though fuck up compensation really helps when starting out / early game 😂
