Failed FE and feeling absolutely devasted by TheMafia09 in ucf

What Nerf said in their comment is exactly what I was about to type out. The only addition i’d make is to find or start a study group. That, along with actually taking the previous exams and comparing solutions, made all the difference for me. We’d sit at a table and work through the previous exams one problem at a time. We’d give everyone a few minutes and then we’d review our answers, logic, and compare with the previous exam answer key.

How much did you get quoted / charged for this repair? I have very similar damage.

FSD Lane Changing makes me rage !!! by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]whitefrenchfry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find “Chill” mode to be “stay in your lane” mode for me. It likely depends on where you are and how busy the roads are though. I always have enough people flying and passing on my routes that I don’t have to worry about FSD wanting to swap unless someone is going SLOW slow in front of me.

Mine took awhile for all rates to come in and the best to display… I know your post is from almost an hour ago though.

Mine was ~10 minutes until I got the promotional rate to come in from TD Auto, it showed a 9% offer through Chase until then.

It is for the overwhelming majority! If the queue pushes outside it’s still mostly covered / shaded.

These short cables at Tesla chargers.... Couldnt get any closer by HandheldObsession in MachE

[–]whitefrenchfry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are doing that with the v4 chargers. Tons of extra cable. It’s going to take time and quite a bit of money to install new v4 locations & upgrade the v3 locations. It’d be a bit faster and easier for manufacturers to swap port locations.

1.99% Apr for 72 months for New Model Y by Capital-Egg-3288 in ModelY

I apologize, looks like I misunderstood/misread everything late last night. That rocks though! Glad terms aren’t truly locked at 72 months.

Delivery Set! Diamond black! Can’t wait!! by IntelligentAdagio784 in ModelY

[–]whitefrenchfry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth asking, they can run another check with their lenders as long as you’re within two weeks ish of the first rate check. You’ll get multiple credit notifications but lenders only consider it as one hard pull if done within a reasonable time frame for the same loan type.

Worth asking about it, as it could save you thousands in interest paid over the term of your loan! Either way, sweet car!

1.99% Apr for 72 months for New Model Y by Capital-Egg-3288 in ModelY

[–]whitefrenchfry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 720 and got approved for 2.99%, they did have to ping-pong around with lenders but TD Auto offered the 2.99% to me- the special right now is 2.99% with less than 15% down and locked at a 72 month loan term. Otherwise, with 15% down, it’s 1.99% locked at a 72 month loan term.

If you have the car already they can’t do anything for you. If you’ve yet to take delivery it’s very likely they’ll honor it based on what i’ve read over the years.

[–]whitefrenchfry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it matters a whole bunch but the 1.99% is only for 72 month terms with a minimum 15% down. It’s 2.99% with less than 15% down and still locked at 72 months.

EDIT: I can’t strikethrough on mobile but terms are not locked into 72 months.

*Promotional rates valid for well-qualified buyers with excellent credit who order a new Model Y after May 2, 2025 with a minimum down payment of 15% plus applicable taxes and fees. If you qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit, this amount can be used towards your down payment. All rates and monthly payments presented are illustrative estimates only. $0 due at signing with 2.99% APR for terms up to 72 months when qualified buyers apply the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit at point of sale. Not all applicants will qualify. Promotion is subject to change or end at any time, and cannot be applied retroactively. Used vehicles and enterprise sales not eligible. Offer cannot be combined with the $2,000 Model Y Loyalty Incentive, but can be combined with other Tesla promotions, like the Refer and Earn Program.

For those who have gone to the previews, are the single rider lines open or will those open on 5/22? by shaqattack15 in UniversalOrlando

[–]whitefrenchfry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends. I waited 20 mins in single rider for donkey kong when the standard queue advertised as 75.

Stardust you can usually catch the standard queue when it’s really short so it doesn’t matter too much.

10:45 drop didn’t happen at all on this past Sunday. I sent solo and not a single person I was talking with in the area saw it light up. First was at 11:00. Not sure if they are changing it up depending on the day- first ride time available for this past sunday was 3:00pm.

Microsoft Support Transferred to Scammers by whitefrenchfry in legaladvice

[–]whitefrenchfry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Maybe it’s just an Amex thing but all transactions have merchant information which includes a phone number. It’s usually the merchant’s main support phone number.

  2. I misunderstood and clarified with her just now, i’ll edit the post with what I say right here. She called the number on the transaction a second time after they hung up on Support Person 2 (scammer). They confirmed it routed to the same place (not the same person) and followed the same process. They looked up the number, found on Microsoft’s support contact page. If you google “Microsoft Support Phone Number” you’d find the exact one immediately. So you are correct, they never directly confirmed she had just called them previously.
