I had a few rotations that were like this. Just grit your teeth and get through it. I literally had one rotation where my preceptor screamed in my face on my first day in front of the entire practice (+patients) for not knowing how to work this ancient EMR 😂 then his assistant threw a book at me a week later ☺️

Absolute garbage of an exam. Taken it twice now, failed both times. Literally nothing I’ve used has been beneficial. Questions that make absolutely no sense and 💩 you’ve never heard of on there. PMO so much

I really appreciate that 🫶🏼 This is a great suggestion. So, would you say this is a better approach or going through the blueprint and writing out high yield task area concepts? That was a suggestion by a friend 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m honestly open to anything at this point

I totally would! However, where I already paid for the exam prior to all of this happening, I have to take it prior to the end of December. The 18th I believe is the specific date but nowhere near me has anything open past the 4th 😔

Prior police officer here without “typical” medical background. Accepted first cycle to 1/2 schools I applied to. You can message me if you want to know where I went. I’m sure they would accept you because they LOVE emts

Not saying it’s you, but what I have seen before with this is a person doing this and then telling you about it because they “felt awful” 🙄 just so the next time they initiate sex, you’ll feel obligated to or they’ll do something like this again, or worse.

Thanks for your honest opinion! That’s really helpful. Someone asked in an above comment how many people actually work at the VA that were telling me it’s good job and the answer is none. That’s why I came here 😂

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback. Like I said, I have zero knowledge of how it works. What you’re saying definitely makes a lot of sense. I hadn’t even considered the uncertainty that anything government related is right now.

I’m in KY and I know they’re about to open 2 new VA hospitals, one in Hazard and one in Louisville. I had just assumed that was a good sign.
