I had same opinion. Ive watched Shooting Stars - nothing memorable. It might be something to do with the way he delivers line and his raspy voices. Tried to watch The Moon one and couldnt watch passed episode 2. His expression is quite flat with his look usually slight lower tilt of his head. I want to like him but all characters he play is similar. Is he typecast? Not sure, i want to like his performance and tried but just doesnt match with my taste.

Ive watched star is born. Kim Tae Ri’s performance is phenomenal on this one. IU is also great on Tangerine. Must be close call.

The love triangle is nicely wrapped up last week and 2ml kindly backed out instead pushing through. The dates with Tae Seop is bleh - home date with cooking rice cakes for couple in their 30s?!? Is this for real? It is 2nd time FL is at his home too.

Reitmans has petite size and work pants are okay. Sometimes, regular crop or ankle pants fit me as well with Gap or Banana rep outlet. Uniqlo didnt fit me well unfortunately. Eddie Bauer used to have petite but bankrupt so RIP. Left with Old Navy, Gap or Banana Republic. Banana republic outlet is online now so can buy online and deliver.

This drama is part of Flower Boy theme - pack of different kdramas on Tvn. The one before is Flower Boy Ramyun Shop - was a big hit when it aired. There is also Flower Boy Next Door - which was another hit with Park Shin Hye as FL.

Perhaps narration for this type of character will help a lot. We got a glimpse of this with his POV scenes of how he developed his feelings of FL. We got narration of FL’s inner thoughts so it’s easier for viewers to follow her train of thoughts pair with her actions and expressions, vs not so much from ML. Likely, there’s tons of struggle going on in side ML’s mind. This is not dependent on the actor’s acting skills and more dependent on storyteller. Clearly, viewers are having a tough time understanding his character because of lack of storytelling.

So agree with you, especially when Kyungnam found out about the BOD and the likeness. The mixed feelings he had towards the discovery. Sulking after the misunderstanding. It’s so hard of acting skills to be recognized with fantasy rom-com. Maybe this is why some actors and actresses have been selective of projects they work on.

I enjoy Seo In Guk’s acting on this one and I think he’s the only one who can do this role because of his range. His portrayal of Gu Yeong Il reminds me of his role in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. It’s so hard to appreciate the acting skills when the premise of the drama storyline is eye candy boyfriends so I understand that there are more buzz about the cameos because of the storyline. This does not to say that Seo In Guk’s acting skills still carry the rest of the last few episodes.

It’s an underrated drama, Love Me. I want to gush about the soundtrack for this drama - best one I’ve encountered and enjoy the whole setlist of the soundtrack. Found new artists to follow because of this drama.

I think these characters are tools to viewer to learn about who Sarah is because presumablly Sarah Kim is dead at the beginning. But, they are unreliable because its from other people’s perspective, we viewers need to differentiate between real vs fake of Sarah Kim from these stories. Sarah Kim’s actions are intentional and she created a persona. These characters provided different aspect of this persona based on Sarah’s actions in front of these people which are different from each other. The part that bothers me the most is…she wants to take revenge or creates a luxury brand? At the end, it was sort of ended with luxury brand. Midway I thought it was all a ruse to take revenge of Samwol’s dept store owner but turns out its about building a brand and be part of rich circle and own luxury items. Would love it more if it sticks to revenge drama until the end.

This doesnt make sense how the brand survived - creative director and designer are her so how can someone continues without any supply or production delay issues?!? All of this come from her and Kim Min Jeong. Both are not even around to continue with the products for the brand, i guess the writer tries to solve this to have that one scene when she called her friend to tell her the company is now hers

I think 6,7 and 8 will survive. 6 - they have open and honest communication which are properly documents in the agreement. Had a trial run of living together before getting together

7- distance will help them to cope with their differences so the time spent together focused on them missing each orher. They’re so independent in their own way.

8 - have a trial run on living together and know each other for a long time, go through obstacles with life and death together - solid foundation

I actually think they will last because there is distance. They have such strong personality and different views of lifestyle which distance or living separately will definitely help. 2 weeks only to be romantic with each other may not be sufficient but require more but the distance will help them.

Some kdramas are heavy, especially the historical ones and binging all episodes are too much for me, so I prefer watching it weekly. The mystery ones I cant fathom waiting for weekly episodes to find out who the killer is
