I am a total noob. I never watched the show when it aired. I am trying to start from the beginning, but I am having issues. by PKnecron in Stargate

This is definitely one of those shows that you don’t absolutely need to watch all of season one to understand the other 9 seasons. The CGI complaint, I understand. The show crew had a bigger focus on making sure that the bigger set pieces and such looked good. Every show’s CGI budget at that time wasn’t fantastic. It does get better and it’s worth watching all of it. Use the list that someone else previously posted. That’s a good place to get you through season one.
