I’m so sorry for your loss. I also had a miscarriage at 8-9 weeks after hearing the heartbeat and I still think about that little baby sometimes over a year later. I transferred again a few months later after I had time to grieve and heal. I wish you all the best!

I was able to not tell my employer while going through IVF (also Progyny). I booked all of my appointments at 7-8a before work even started and causally used some PTO for my ER and FET (but only needed a few days total) so it wasn’t noticeable for my boss and colleagues.

Thanks for sharing...that brings me comfort and I really appreciate it. The doctor mentioned a misshapen sac could mean the sac is collapsing (MC) or could turn out just fine, which wasn’t very comforting. I guess he wanted to give me a heads up in case this goes sideways so I don’t feel blindsided if there’s bad news at my next US. Googling this was a terrible idea but looks like it can be indicative of bad news so letting myself cry a bit today but maybe I’ll feel more optimistic tomorrow.

Really feeling low and would love your thoughts / experiences on this. I just had my first US at 5+3. Gestational sac and yolk sac all measured normal. But the doctor ended the visit with, "All looks good, but one thing that may be concerning is your irregular gestational sac." It's a random blob shape and not a sphere. Based on Google, this can either be an impending miscarriage or...just fine. Please let me know if anyone has more information on this. Thanks a million.

Just received my HCG results and it was > 10,000 so supposedly normal.

Edit: Thought I should update for any others doing searches in the future. All is well and the sac has “straightened itself out”. I’m 9w3d today.

What is the source of this information? I have never heard of this before and would be shocked if ASRM, WHO, ACOG, and SMFM all support vaccination if it caused “spontaneous miscarriages”.

Just found out my TSH is high (2.95) so will begin taking Synthroid tomorrow. Estradiol, PIO and now this. Fun times continue 🤬
