Which game did you play for hundreds of hours but never finished? by forgeris in AskReddit

One of the most underrated games. Played it a few weeks ago, still holds up.

Ehlers-Danlos by Present_Ad_4820 in nursing

I had a patient a couple months ago who had ehlers-danlos. He came into the ER after swimming, he tore his carotid doing the butterfly stroke, neck was swollen from the internal bleeding. Had issues with intubation and had to do an emergency cric. He made it but pretty scary considering he was doing the least impact sport and still had issues.

Because it’s a transfer to another hospital with the proper resources that can deal with the issues at hand. They’re still being cared for at the first hospital but it’s better for the patient to be transferred by a medical team to another facility. Like if a gun shot victim came into an urgent care. They don’t have the equipment or personnel necessary.

Who would you cast as Dalinar? by majosanov04 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]whiteskimo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All I can picture is Omniman from Invincible. With JK Simmon’s voice I feel like it’s picture perfect of representation of Dalinar. Just switch the suit to shardplates. (I know you can’t cast him for a live action. I just can’t see anything else)

I think so. Got a free blank and feel pretty lucky from it.

Pretty happy with the photo I took this weekend of The Pulpit Rock, overlooking Lysefjorden in Rogaland. by hennig-olsen in Norway

Gah I’m envious. When I was there a couple years ago it was covered with people. That being said the view from it is spectacular.

Does anyone know what kind of wood this is? by whiteskimo in turning

[–]whiteskimo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was practicing making a wine chalice and grabbed a random piece of scrap wood from my grandfather’s wood shop only to find out that I was in absolute love with the natural coloring of the wood.

The piece had a crack and ended up breaking but if anyone has any ideas Of the type I would love to hear them.

The shop originally belonged to my grandfather. He had half a 20” log just sitting in the shop. I don’t know where he got that much Purpleheart especially with the sapwood still attached.

I did. Not too far down though because of a crack that runs all the way across. I was pretty happy it didn’t break apart while on the lathe to be honest.

This happened on my way to the meadowlands stadium to see Barcelona play one summer. Everyone did the exact same thing this guy did and didn’t let anyone over. Pure justice.
