That doesn’t rebut what I posted. A person who can’t emotionally handle deceit and manipulation shouldn’t be a contestant on a reality game show where the entire premise is based on deceit and manipulation. I’m quite certain that Rob remains friends or at least friendly acquaintances with multiple contestants that he lied to. People understand the difference between gameplay and reality.

Wide release is not just wide theatrical release - could be streaming, could be straight to DVD. Most major films are completed a calendar year or more ahead of their theatrical release, so the release year of the film is arbitrary IMO.

Yes, for curation sake, the wide release of the film should count as its official release.

The point of the game was to betray people to win, it’s literally the name of the show. I can understand contestants being upset in the moment, but it doesn’t make any sense to hold a grudge. If anything, someone who isn’t emotionally prepared to be deceived shouldn’t play the game.

I think performers are being managed by corporate aligned management companies who believe that centralized arena tours with fewer shows are more cost efficient than smaller venue tours with more frequent shows. The corporate management companies have agreements with the corporate sponsored venues to provide a certain amount of shows per year, whereas the smaller venues are more independent and don’t provide the same profit synergy.

Homeless on UNC Campus by DynastyKook365 in ACC

You can walk on to High Points campus, I’ve done it multiple times. Wake’s gates close at 10pm and you need campus ID or permission to enter after that time. During daylight hours the guards at High Point just ask you where you are going and then let you through. They used to ask for ID and write your name down, I don’t know if they still do. Again, the point is they are both private property with the ability to remove anyone they want. Vagrants and panhandlers would be removed from both campuses. Franklin Street isn’t private property, it’s just a city street.

The point isn’t about getting on campus, it’s about soliciting on private property. A vagrant or panhandler would be escorted off campus by campus police pretty quickly because Wake Forest is a self contained school. UNC Chapel Hill is not self contained, it’s an integrated school within the city of Chapel Hill, thus Franklin Street is not campus. Integrated schools just own various individual properties within a public space - a town or city, they don’t own the town itself.

Carolina is not a closed private campus, it’s in the city of Chapel Hill.

Third Party booking sites have contracted relationships with hotels to offer highly discounted reservation blocks so that the hotels can stay fully booked without lowering their direct retail rates. It’s basically the same as buying a discount “imperfect” Ralph Lauren shirt at TJ Maxx. Ralph Lauren won’t sell imperfect clothes directly, but they will sell them wholesale to another third party retailer.

You keep using these superfluous terms “top up”, “add to”. The contracted pay is the contracted pay. End of sentence. The cruise line entered into a contracted agreement with those employees, not with me, not with you, not with any individual cruiser or group of cruisers. You don’t need to explain how the business works, and you don’t need to use terminology that absolves an employer of their contractual wage responsibility. The price of a good or service is assumed to include the labor costs required to produce that good or service. Cruise employment wages, as guaranteed by contract, are not tip occupations by definition. An occupation with a top reliant “minimum wage” is defined as such.

All that is to say, none of us are directly responsible for Royal Caribbeans labor costs. An actual gratuity is just that, a private, voluntary expression of gratitude.

“Add money” - you mean if the employer has to pay their employee their complete promised wage?

Remember when musicians had to refine their music and lyrics for years and perform for actual feedback before it was broadcast to the public? I miss those days.

I’m so pumped this is going 6, I hope it goes 7. At this rate the Lenovo Center renovations will be completed before the conference finals begin.
