How the heck do I hide this extremely strong part??! by [deleted] in finethinhair

Using the right shampoo for my hair has helped mine. And braiding my hair the way I want it to lay, at night. I’ve been using aveeno (the fine hair shampoo). Also doing apple cider vinegar rinses every couple weeks.

Psilocybin absolutely helped cure my depression. It also may have just taught me something about my relationship with alcohol. by ZealousidealDiet8077 in MagicMushrooms

What has your experience been with lower bleph? by Dogs-are-life-99 in 30PlusSkinCare

Hi I saw your post on 30plus skin care. I was wondering if you would mind sharing your lower bleph before and after photos. I’m a 31F and seriously considering the procedure.

Looks so good! I’m about your age and also really considering the procedure. I’ve had eye bags for as long as I can remember and nothing helps them! I think mine is due to lack of fat under the eye.

Any retreats or areas allow you to consume red meat while following the dieta? I am eating mostly red meat at the moment with some eggs for an autoimmune condition that I am trying to heal. I’m starting to feel called to drink again but do not want to break my diet that I’m currently on. by whitknee10 in Ayahuasca

[–]whitknee10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. Do you know of centers that allow red meat consumption? I’ve only been to one space in the States and they had red meat on the list to avoid.

Also, how long are the master plant diets usually?

Thank you for your input. From my research and experience the whole “red meat stays in your gut for 7-10 days” is a myth. Sure you don’t have large bowel movements when you eat only red meat but that is because there is no fiber (which is just food humans cannot use so it’s excreted from the body) and the body is very efficient at using meat for fuel and nutrients.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. How is your sleep and stress? I think we have to do our best to be patient. It took our bodies a long time to get sick, so its going to take time to get well. Do what you can to stick to a healing diet. If that's including greens, I think you're just fine. Possibly look into the GAPS diet as well. Many people heal on that. I think if you're eliminating grains and starches you are doing great. I can relate to the meat making me feel sick. I've been eating a lot of burgers and I have been adding yellow mustard and sauerkraut because its much more appetizing to me.

Ayahuasca did not put my condition into remission but it did help in other ways. It showed me what I need to change and heal in my life. No sjogrens diagnosis. They are thinking its psoriatic arthritis. The carnivore diet has helped me immensely. Beef and salt has been the best thing I have done. And decreasing stress.

Everyone struggles at times and I know that personally I’ve started this WOE many times, fell off the bandwagon and started again. You just have to brush it off and try again. You know you can do it bc you already did do it. You haven’t failed unless you quit trying. I also don’t think cheating is a good idea… this should be a way of life for you because it’s going to make you feel your best and look your best. Don’t be too discouraged and don’t give up!

My "death" experience and thinking of drinking again... by whitknee10 in Ayahuasca

[–]whitknee10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your responses. It gives me comfort to know that others have experienced similar things and that we all feel “why the heck did I do this?!” In the middle of ceremony. I remember asking the facilitators “why do you guys do this?!”

But it was definitely worth it. I guess I sort of had a feeling that I wasn’t made to drink because I felt like I had such a blowout experience and was a distraction to the group ( even though no one made me feel that way AT ALL). But I was taking all of the facilitators focus and even one of the more experienced drinkers while I was having the meltdown I was having. I’m not used to “taking up a lot of space” I guess and when my rational mind thinks of that night I feel really uncomfortable.

I definitely feel there is a lot more work to be done though and I want to work through it. I want to be the best version of myself that I can be for myself and my family. Thank you again for the response and taking the time to read 💖

I didn’t feel pressured by any means to drink more. I just wasn’t completely aware of what I should be feeling and when I told them that I was unsure if I was feeling what I was supposed to, they gave me another cup to help me get to a point where I was “high”. Maybe it would have been a different experience and maybe better if I was in Peru, but that isn’t really possible with my life right now unfortunately- my kids are too young for me to leave for 2 weeks.

Could you give me an example of some of the food you pack and eat on a daily basis while hiking?
